Hello everyone, I know it's been quite some time since I last updated anything. But I finally have some inspiration back so I hope to be able to continue my stories! I wrote this a long time ago and it was a bit childish so instead of deleting the entire story. I edited all my old chapters and re-wrote a lot of my last two chapters, so I recommend going back and reading them! I'm excited to be back and writing and I really hope you all enjoy reading the rest of this story!

After Calum walks in all my friends follow his lead and all come inside. Everyone finds a place to sit with me still sitting on Luke's bed our hands intertwined.

"Dude, are you okay? You never answered." Calum speaks up again.

"Yea I'm fine. Nothing too bad just a little accident no big deal really." Luke says, shrugging all of our other questions off.

Everyone sits around quietly not really saying much. We all make small talk here and there but not much other than that. The room is filled with awkward tension and I can't really tell why. I begin to get lost in my thoughts when I feel my phone begin to buzz.

FROM BIRTHGIVER:

Hi Honey, hope everything is okay. Just wanted to make sure you are alright, and too see what the plan is considering it's getting late. Let me know. Xoxo

I look at my clock and it reads 10:04, it really did get late and I have no idea how I didn't realize the time go by. I let out a little huff and it gets everyone's attention.

"Everything okay Alex?" Brooke asks.

"Yea, i'm fine. It's just getting really late, and we should all probably head home."

Luke squeezes my hand a little tighter at my words. He reaches over to grab his phone to check the time to see if it really was getting late. He sighs when he sees the time,

"I guess Alex is right, you guys should get ready to go home. Calum will you make sure Alex gets home safely for me please?" Luke asks while pulling me even closer to him.

"Of course I will. Don't worry about it." Calum responds while gathering all his things. With everyone following his lead.

They all shuffle out the door while saying their goodbyes. I'm the last to get ready to leave, I stand up and press a kiss to his forehead. Before leaning down and whispering,

"I'll see you tomorrow. You've got some explaining to do though."

I get up and leave making my to Calum's car, ready to go home and sleep today's stress away.
