... A Fully Loaded Gun?

As I walked towards my car I could see there was a figure leaning on my car, waiting for me. I couldn't make out who it was but as I got nearer to him, his features were made clearer.

"We need to talk" He said with a really serious tone. I didn't like where this conversation was heading but it involved me so I had to listen. Whatever he wanted to talk about it wasn't a good thing.

"I have nothing to say to you, I made myself pretty clear Monday morning." I told Will anger rushing through my veins at just the sight of him.

"This can't wait and actually you didn't make yourself clear at all. I made out with one girl... one girl Brooke and I asked you if that meant we were over but you gave me no answer and now every where I look all I see is your lips on Jake's. So frankly I'm as confused as ever." He told me every sentence his voice gaining volume.

"You jealous? That Jake kisses me in a way that you never could." I ask him knowing the question would wind him up.

"Damn right I'm jealous. Your my girl Brooke and I will wait for you to come to your senses." his voice held a lot of possession that wasn't needed. One I wasn't his girl, I'm not anyone's girl, I am my own person and two I don't want him to wait for me. Him waiting wasn't going to get me back, he has to fight for me and if he can't figure that out then there's really no point in Jake and I's fake relationship although he had just admitted he's jealous so obviously the plan is working.

"Do you mind. I'm in a hurry!" I tell him giving the clock on my phone a quick glance and changing the subject. I had a ton of homework to do, it's almost as if the teachers decided that because we're seniors now they can just dump pages and pages of textbook work on us and expect us to do it without a problem.

"This won't take long, I promise" He motioned for me to get into his car that was parked only meters away. "Please" he begged looking down at me with his huge brown eyes that no girl could resist.

I looked between him and his car unsure of what to say. He did look a bit worried. "Two minutes!" I tell him holding up the correct number of fingers. I made my way over to his car leaving him to follow behind. I had no idea why we had to talk in his car but there still a few students hanging around so whatever he wanted to talk must really be for our ears only.

"I just want to tell you what really happened on Monday morning." He told me all his attention on his dancing thumbs. Whenever he was nervous or anxious about something he would always play with his thumbs- it's as if he's having a thumb war with himself.

Despite the fact he had broken my heart he deserved to speak his side of the story so that's exactly what I let him do."Fine but if you give me any shitty excuses I will..." he cut me off before I could finish my threat.

"No excuses, I promise" His face lightened up when I agreed to hear him out. He looked appreciatively at me before he went off to explain everything that took place that morning. "She came up to me and asked if I was Will Grayson so I said yes ... for obvious reasons and then from out of nowhere she just... kissed me and... yes okay I'll admit it I kissed her back but then I stopped... I realised what I was giving up if I continued to kiss this girl whose name I didn't even know"

I could see his frustration as his fists kept clenching and unclenching as he told me his argument. "Oh thank you Will" I told him sarcastically. "Thank you for taking your tongue out of her mouth to think about the damage it was causing."

"Brooke please can you not see what's right in front of your own eyes?" he shouted at me, which I didn't exactly care for.

"See what Will? What are my eyes missing?" I asked oblivious to whatever problem Will picked up on.
