…Obviously Got Some.

A few days had passed now since I found out about Will. The girl in the picture came up to me yesterday to apologize for what she did. Her name was Rachel Johnson and she didn’t know Will had a girlfriend or she never would have made out with him. When she first came to me I was mad but I decided to forgive her. Nobody really knew Will and I were a thing, except close friends. Will asked me out on the very last day of semester, and spent summer together, so I guess nobody would have known.

Jake and I had a regular routine. We would make out before the bell rang at the start of the day, during lunch and at the end of any class we had together. I still wasn’t completely happy with our arrangements but kissing him wasn’t as awkward anymore. There were still some hesitations but I had to push past them.

“You know people still aren’t fully convinced about you and Jake” Quinn said as we stood in line to get lunch. Quinn was a top gossiper. She knew everything about most people yet they probably didn’t even know she existed.  It was quite handy sometimes.

“Well what should I do…? I mean I have to kiss him like… what…? Five times a day.” I tell them handing over my cash to the dinner lady.

“C’mon I have an idea, follow my league.” Arianna says before making her way over to where Jake, Cole and Oliver sat. This shocked me a little as Arianna is definitely the quite shy one in our small group. Why she was walking over to the table where three of the scariest boys sat?. I quickly caught on to her drift as we neared their table; she wanted us to sit with them.

“Hey Baby” I greeted Jake loudly with a peck on the lips; I was too hungry to kiss him.

“Hey Brooke… and… friends?” He replied confused as to why we were here. Oliver and Cole were just as confused as they looked between us and then looked at each other. Quinn took the first step and placed her tray down on the table before scooting up beside Cole.

“We need to talk… as a group” She told the guys. I loved how my friends thought of my business as their own. I guess it can be annoying sometimes but it really showed how much they care about me. I took a seat next to Jake. “Okay so people still don’t believe that you two are a real couple so we need to talk tactics” She whispered to the guys informing us all of her plan, not wanting others to hear.

“Well why don’t you go discuss that somewhere you are wanted” Cole told her stealing some of her fries even though he had a plate full of his own sitting directly in front of him.

“That’s good” I tell Cole coping what he just did. No boy wants his food stolen… unless he’s in love. I steal some of Jake’s chips before shoving them in my mouth. Jake groaned in protest but I kept reaching in for more. “Now now Jakey I’m your girlfriend therefore I’m allowed to eat your food.”

“No you’re my fake girlfriend therefore you’re not” He said pushing his plate away from me. “Nice one Cole” He looked over at Cole in annoyance.

“Thanks Cole” I say in a really cheery voice as he shot me one off his ‘Fuck Off’ looks that made me shrink to about three inches.

“Don’t treat her like that!!” Quinn challenged him. My heart started racing now as did Arianna’s. Her face was covered in panic and I’m pretty sure that mine was too. There was no way I could catch Quinn’s eye to tell her to back off and calm down, no she was too busy sending death glares at Cole who was sending then right back. I kicked Arianna’s leg and shot her a look telling her to kick Quinn’s leg. That might bring her back into the real world where she wouldn’t want to be killed by Cole Anderson.

“Did you just kick me?” Oliver asked in a dangerous voice, looking in Arianna’s direction. I hoped and prayed that she hadn’t kicked Oliver but unfortunately she did. She shook her head slowly as words probably couldn’t be formed at that moment. She was never good with strangers; she had really bad anxiety problems and would probably faint on the spot if someone didn’t help her out. Oh God this was a bad idea coming to sit at their table.
