The next day
"Kids! Come down here!" Dad called. Just great. I changed into a simple (favorite color) dress and went downstairs. I got down with my brothers and sister to see Mom and Dad there with four knights with their helmets up, so we could see their faces.
There was: A red echidna, a female purple cat, a silver hedgehog and a black hedgehog with red striped quills. "Kids, these are the Knights of the Round Table who will serve and protect you each on your parts of the castle." said Dad. "Sir Gawain," he's the echidna, "will be with Manic, Sir Percival," the cat, "will be with Sonia, Sir Galahad," the silver hedgehog, "Will be with Sonic and Sir Lancelot," the last one, "Will be with (Y/N). So that's it, children, the knights will guard your side of the castle and serve you."
I went to my room with Sir Lancelot behind me. Just the thought of me, being the only girl with a male knight, actually makes me blush. To be honest, he's actually very good looking. "If you need anything, just let me know" he said with a deep voice, sending a chill down my spine. Dang I love the sound of his voice.
Shadow's POV
Wow. I'm really glad I picked Princess (Y/N) to protect. She's seems really nice and is very pretty.
