Your POV

I ran towards Shadow, who was slumped against the wall. "Shadow! Mephilies, what did you do?!" "Just so you know, he's going to die." I looked at his breastplate, saw his chest, and was horrified. His chest was bleeding badly. "No! Shadow, I'm so sorry!" "It's okay... I just... Need to..." he picked up the burning knife by the flaming side.

"Shadow, what are you doing?" he didn't answer. He just hurled the burning knife at Mephilies and it hit him hard and he practically melted. I was panting heavily, shocked that Shadow had added to his pain. "Shadow, why did you do this?" "I... I did it... To save... You, (Y/N)... " "But you're killing yourself even more!" "Hey... I did it... Because... I... Love... You... " I cried as he slowly closed his eyes and finally stopped breathing. Shady and Lily appeared by my side. They cuddled with me, but I was still heartbroken. I cried hard as I put my hands on his chest.

"No! SHADOW! PLEASE! You can't do this to me!! I need you! I love you! I can't live without you!!" I screamed as cried harder and harder. I buried my head in his bloody chest. First I'm not allowed to go out the castle, and now I've lost the one person I cared about the most in my life. I cried even harder, when suddenly I felt a hand cover mine.

What happened before: (3rd person)

(Y /N) was crying her heart out. She lost the one she loved, her soul mate and she would never see him again. Her tears flowed from her eyes as she cried hard.. One of her tears fell on his face and dissolved in his skin. A bright light descended out from his chest, covering the room. Shady and Lily tried to tell (Y/N), but she was still crying not paying attention to anything but her loss. What she didn't know was that her tears and her love had healed him and brought him back to life.

Back to your POV

I was still crying, when I looked up and saw Shadow's hand covering mine. I was so confused. But then I saw Shadow opening his eyes slowly. I was crying even more, but with joy. "Shadow? You're alive?!" "(Y/N), I'll always be here for you. I'll never leave you" I was so happy. I grabbed his face gently and crashed my lips onto his, in the most passionate kiss we've ever had. I was still crying with joy. My love was back.
