"Toriel, when can i leave?" You ask, sitting at the dining table eating some more of her Bscotch and Cinnamon pie.
"Oh, there is no place for a young girl like you out there. The world is a harsh place; you wouldn't survive!" You quietly chuckle. You knew at least YOU could survive.
"Mum, i can't stay here any longer. I want to go home. I want to see my birth family again! I love you all the same, Toriel. I just can't be here."
'Kill her. She has a knife'
'I must be imagining things' You thought. Maybe spending so much time with Chara had taken a toll on your mental health. That wasn't surprising.
You nod at Toriel before taking another bite of pie. "Toriel, I have heard the rumors. I know you want to save me, and I know what you have done. But I can't stay here for much longer. I can't live in a world knowing I could be out there saving people! Toriel please!" She sighs, and grabs your hand.
"Frisk, I know you think this is best for you. And maybe you are stronger than you believe. Than i believe. Once you leave... You may never return." She walks into the kitchen and you hear small whimpers that sound like crying.

<3*Leave
You walked down the the door, grabbing another slice of pie on your way. Your chest grew heavier and heavier as you thought of all the times you used a stupid stick to slice her face open. All the times you watched her cry in pain from the thought of losing another child.
You convinced yourself this was for the better of things and pushed open the large door. It was heavy, but you managed to get it open anyway. This was it. The first peaceful route you would take. And hopefully not the last.
The air was cold as it suddenly hit your face. You tugged at the sleeves of your top hoping it would provide you with warmth. The shadowy path loomed in front of you but you continued anyway.
A small stick lay on the path, similar to yours. Knowing you wouldn't need it anymore you threw it onto the ground. This filled you with determination.
The path seemed to go on for a while, but you endured the cold and walked down it anyway. You heard the usual CRUNCH of the sticks as you got further down the path and the gate got into sight.
"D O N T Y O U K N O W H O W T O G R E E T A N E W P A L? T U R N A R O U N D A N D S H A K E M Y H A N D."
You turn, expecting nothing more than a short, 'punny' skeleton to greet you- and that's exactly what you got. "I'm Sans. Sans the skeleton. You are?"
