Demons, monsters, villains, thieves
Nightmares and horrors you won't believe
Take my hand? No! Don't you dare.
You'll experience terror that raises hairs.
I shiver in the cold, unrelenting dark
A silver demon chases me and grabs my arm, leaving marks.
The chills make my teeth chatter
And my once beating heart just shatters.
My whole world turns unbearably grey
And my life is splitting into tiny frays.
Look there, I left something unfinished
By now my blood should have replenished,
But I look down and see pallid skin
I'm just a lifeless ghoul fading into a deathly din.
Is this some kind of zombified grace?
A punch in the nose, a slap in the face?
Why would anyone want to live like this,
In this swirling, confusing, nauseating...bliss?
When I fell I must have been saved by demons,
Who know nothing of the needs of humans.
They kept me alive, yet somehow I've died.
But yet, somehow even death ended up defied.
I think sometimes I'm better off dead,
But maybe living with demons has messed up my head.
