Gold and diamonds,
Stars for sale,
Immortality
For hearts that fail.
Money and power,
But it's ephemeral,
Fatality
Is much too typical.
Hearts and glass,
All the same,
Brutality
Seen as a game.
Tears and wounds,
Open for viewing
Mentality:
Lost in life's undoing.
