Your Song

You and Luke were cuddled up in your small yet cozy apartment lying next to the window as the light pitter patter of the rain hit the pavement outside. He holds you really close in his arms while running his fingers through your hair and planting light kisses on your forehead every now and then. You see his guitar lying across the room with scattered music sheets all around it.

You- "Hey babe, Have you been writing new music or something? Looks like you have been working hard." You say with a smile planted across your fare toned face.

Luke- "Yeah," He says while laughing a bit, "I actually have, But they aren't very good. I can play some for you if you want?" He smirks down at you as you look up at him.

You- "Yeah of course I do." You say as you crinkle your nose and bop his lightly with your finger.

Luke scrunches his nose and pulls the blanket off of the two of you and intertwines his fingers with yours and leads you to the guitar and sits down on the wooden chair in the corner of the room.

Luke- "I know this may sound a little cheesy but... This one is kind of about you and how we met, If you know what I mean." He says as he looks down at the guitar and picks at the already wearing wood.

You- "Luke that's really sweet of you, Don't be embarrassed. I really wanna hear what you wrote." You say reassuringly and give him a soft smile and ruffle his hair.

Luke gives you a faint smile as you can clearly tell that your reassurance calmed his nerves. He brings his hands up to the strings and starts playing the song that he made just for you, his voice lightly shaking as he beautifully lets the words escape from his lips. You stand there in front of him in complete and utter shock at how beautifully written the song really was and couldn't help but let a tear or two fall from your already watery eyes. Luke finishes the song and slowly opens his eyes, takes a deep breath and looks up at you. As soon as his eyes meets yours his eyes widen and he removes the guitar from his body, sets it down and walks up to you.

Luke- "Umm, I'm sorry... You probably don't like it, You probably hate it. I don't know what to say, I'm sorry.. Please don't hate me." He says with a worried and anxious tone in his voice.

You- "Luke I-" You start to say as he interrupts you once again.

Luke- "I am such a fucking idiot, I'm so sorry Y/N." He says as he looks down and rubs the back of his neck.

You- "You didn't let me finish," You say as Luke looks at you with watery eyes, "I absolutely loved it and it was hands down one of the best and most beautiful pieces I have ever heard, please don't ever doubt yourself.. You are the best musician I know and frankly my little guitarist." You smile up at his tall ass self and go on your tippy toes to wipe of the tear falling from his face.

Luke- "Do you really mean that? Did you really like it?" He asks as he takes your cheek in his hand and lightly smiles.

You- "Of course I mean it, I didn't like it I loved it." You smile as you scrunch your nose up at him.

Luke- "I love when you do that, You are so damn cute... You know that?" He says as he scrunches his nose back at you.

You- "Enough of that sappy shit," Your scrunch your nose at him once again and let out a giggle, "Let's go watch some Bobs burgers and eat our feelings shall we?" You say as you take his hand in yours and go cuddle back on the couch. As you and Luke are cuddled up on the couch once again he shifts his body towards yours and lifts your chin up.

Luke- "I love you Y/N, More than you can ever imagine." He says really softly as he plants a really soft kiss against your lips as you feel the coolness of his lip ring and your body shivers.

You- "I love you too dork, Always and forever." You say as you look deeply into his eyes and smile.

Luke- "Please don't ever leave me, I need you and would be absolutely crazy lost without you." He says as he looks into your eyes deeply and you notice his eyes shift to a darker blue and your body sinks even more.

You- "I won't ever leave you because of I lost you I would lose a piece of myself." You say as you look back and forth between the both of his eyes.

Luke- "Promise?" He says very breathlessly and brushes his lips against yours.

You- "Promise." You say just as breathlessly and bring his mouth to yours and lightly grip his hair.

Luke-"Ugh Fuck, What have you done to me Y/N... You drive me absolutely crazy." He says as he brings his lips back to yours and you let out a small laugh as you guys continue to kiss.

Luke and you spent the rest of the afternoon cuddling and talking about everything and anything that comes to mind and it's pretty safe to say that you found your soulmate, You never really believed in a "True Love" or that typical sappy romantic bullshit that you see in the movies... But this one boy changed your entire perspective of what love really is. He's like a drug to you, an addiction... Something that you can't get enough of. Laying here forever in Luke's arms is where you feel most at home and you wouldn't have it any other way.
