Sick Day

You have been sick for over a week now. Lightly coughing and sneezing feeling like absolute hell, you haven't really left your bedroom much besides going to the bathroom, getting food and water and other necessary things like that. Laying in bed all day curled up in a ball watching your favorite tv show, blowing your nose with tissues and lightly crying because you were slightly in pain because of how sick you feel. The only thing that would make everything a little better is to have your boyfriend Luke here with you cuddled up in the blanket and lightly rubbing you back while watching Netflix with you. But unfortunately he wasn't in town this entire week so you were stuck by yourself for the entire week. You decide to get up and get some water from downstairs since you already drank the entire cup that you had. You bring yourself out of your bedroom and walk downstairs to get some water. Suddenly there is a knock on the door.

"I'm not expecting any visitors, who could this possibly be? And it's pouring rain outside, who would be crazy enough to drive in this weather?" You think to yourself as you walk towards your front door and you stand there in shock when you open the door and see Luke standing there holding soup, Gatorade, tissues, chocolates, medicine and a large teddy bear while smiling down at you like an absolute idiot and slightly bites his lip.

You- "Luke?! What are you doing here? I thought that you were busy recording this weekend with the boys?" You say wide eyed and smiling like an absolute idiot.

Luke- "Well, My baby girl is sick and that is frankly more important to take care of you than it is to be in the recording studio for hours." Luke says and smirks at you, You happen to blush even though your sickness has taken away most of your color.

You- "Luke... You didn't have to do this, it's really sweet of you." You say in a rather worried tone.

Luke- "No really, It's my pleasure. I love you so much and frankly once again I wanna take care of my baby, You are being oddly nice right now." Luke says still standing outside the door holding everything lightly laughing.

You- "Ahh, Get in here dumbass." You say and lightly punch his arm and roll your eyes and laugh.

Luke- "Ahhh now there's my loveable asshole, I was starting to get worried. I was surprised you didn't call me a name yet." Luke says cockily while he sets everything down on your kitchen table and laughs as you join in with the laughter.

You- "What can I say, I'm quite the charmer." You say as you raise an eyebrow at him and smirk.

Luke- "Now don't get too cocky Mrs.(Y/L/N), We all know who the real charmer is here." Luke says sarcastically back.

You- "Says you! You are such a hypocrite sometimes LuLu." You say testing him while crossing your arms and looking up at him and smirking.

Luke- "Back at it again with the cheesy nicknames I see." Luke groans and lightly laughs as he pulls you closer to him and brings you into a really tight hug and kisses you on your forehead, you can't help but laugh because even though he claims to hate the nicknames you give him you can tell deep down that he absolutely loves it.

You- "Oh shush, You know you like it Luka." You laugh as he groans again and starts laughing with you.

Luke- "You are such a dork (Y/N) but I love you and would be crazy lost without you." Luke says to you as he pulls your chin up and your eyes meet with his beautiful blue eyes, Luke looks from your eyes and down to your lips and repeats as he slowly starts moving his face to yours.

You- "Babe, I'm sick and I don't want to get you sick." You say weakly as you look into his eyes.

Luke- "I don't care if you are sick, I'll just be sick with you." He smiles down at you reassuringly and you lightly giggle at his cheesiness. "Now where were we?" Luke says huskily and low and it sends an absolute chill through your body, slowly he brings his lips to yours and passionately kisses you. Slowly he pulls away and looks back into your eyes after he does. He smiles down at you and sticks his tongue out at you between his teeth and scrunches his nose and you can't help but scrunch your nose back at him and giggle. He lets out a laugh and walks towards the bag that he brought.

Luke- "I brought your all time favorite movie and your favorite candy, So what do you say? You? Me? Cuddles and movies all day?" Luke says as he smiles at you sheepishly from across the table.

You- "Uhhh hell yeah, Let's do it." You say as you lightly laugh and his laughter chimes in, You take his hand and lead him up to your bedroom and Luke puts the movie into the DVD player as you get situated on the bed. After Luke puts the movie in he crawls up to the top of the bed with you and sets his SnapBack down on the side table and turns the lamp off making the room a bit darker than before.

Luke pulls you to lay on him and you both lay there cuddling and intertwining your fingers and playing with them while he rubs your back lightly with his other hand and traces patterns lightly onto your skin while placing light kisses on your forehead every now and then and brushing the hair out of your face. Laying here cuddling with your boyfriend is one of the best things you can ever ask for and more, the fact that he took the time out of his busy life to come and take care of you while you are sick is one of the most thoughtful things ever. It's all of the little things that make a difference, he makes you happier than anyone else ever could and you are frankly very happy to have him in your life. You don't know how and you don't know why he chose you out of every single girl pawing after him but you are very happy he did.

Luke- "Hey uh (Y/N)?" Luke says as you are lightly falling asleep in his arms.

You- "Mmhmm?" You tiredly answer him.

Luke- "I love you." Luke says and kisses your forehead.

You- "I love you too Luke." You say very lightly and slightly giggle and bury your head more into his chest.

Luke- "Goodnight princess." Luke says as the two of you drift off into a deep sleep together.

Even though you are beyond sick and don't feel all that great, having your boyfriend here made everything a whole lot better. You and Luke have the type of love that will last a lifetime, no matter the distance, no matter the years... Nothing could ever come between the two of you.
