Happy Reading!
"What is going here?" I heard an unpleasant voice speak, seemingly close to my face.
I groaned, turning over to avoid waking up, I was exhausted. "Excuse me! What the heck is going on here?!" The girl shrieked. I finally sat up, facing Kathryn. Oh, I must be having a nightmare.
I looked around, realizing I was still snuggled up with Niall on the couch. It was still dark out so I was guessing it was pretty late still, I hadn't slept long.
"Don't you know not to wake a sleeping person? Respect my space and privacy, leave me alone." I said, curling back into the warmth of Niall. He stirred, slightly waking up. He threw his arm over me, pulling me closer to his body.
Kathryn picked up his arm off of me, throwing it onto his face. That caused him to fully wake up with the evilest look on his face. I mean, this expression was one of murder.
"What's going on?" He said, still wearing the mask of murder.
"She just came in here, yelling at us for sleeping. I don't know why," I said, getting up, all warmth leaving my body.
"No boys are allowed in here after midnight Kadence," Kathryn spat out.
"We fell asleep and it just so happens to be past midnight now, Kathryn." I spat back. Niall got up, rubbing his face.
"I'm leaving now. Kathryn, thanks for your concern but mind your own business please. We didn't do anything inappropriate or against the rules. We simply fell asleep on the couch together. Please, keep to your self and your relationship and leave Kade alone," Niall said pointedly. His eyes were serious as his body was exhausted. He looked adorable with his messy hair and tired eyes and posture.
Kathryn grunted, turning her back from Niall to face me. She narrowed her eyes and pushed past me. I quietly thanked Niall and watched him leave the bus, then climbed into my bed. Comfort immediately took over my body, pulling me into the wonderland of sleep but the devil had to interrupt me once again.
"Don't think your little trick is getting past me," Kathryn said, standing right next to my bunk.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Leave me alone, Kathryn." I groaned as she continued on, rubbing my temples trying to calm myself before I went off on her.
"Your putting on a charade of some sort. I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get, or what the prize is at the end of the game, but I'm pretty sure you just want to be able to say you slept with a member on 1D. Well, I'm going to crack it and reveal to everyone who you truly are, and when I do, they will love me and leave you in the dust,"
I wanted to explode. I cannot believe what she is saying about me. I stared at her, amazed that I hadn't gone after her. I encouraged the words to come out of my mouth, one's that would attack her viciously. But before I could mutter a word, the bus door opened.
"Kathryn, I can't believe you."
"H - Harry. How much of that did you hear?" She asked.
"Enough. Kadence, are you okay?" Harry asked.
I nodded my head. I knew my eyes looked like I had been crying but it was only from lack of sleep. My eyes always got bloodshot and puffy when I don't get enough sleep.
"Kathryn, pack your bags. You're leaving tomorrow," Harry said, sadness filling his voice.
"No, I leave in 3 days," Kathryn corrected quietly. She sounded like she knew what he was saying, sadness also in her voice. But there was another emotion, something I couldn't figure out.
