Picture of Kadence to the right! ===>
I glanced down at my guitar, making sure I was in the right position before Ethan hit the record button.
"Ready Kadence?"
"Yep!" I said. I watched as he held his hand up, counting down from five and then hitting the record button.
"Hey guys! Kadence here! I decided to do a cover of I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic! At The Disco. I hope you enjoy it! And if you do, hit the subscribe button!"
And I started singing and strumming at my guitar. For the few minutes I was singing, I lost myself in the music.
"I chime in with a haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?! No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality."
As I finished, Ethan hit the record button again. He gave me a thumbs up, letting me know everything went smoothly. I got up from my seat, stretched, and walked over to the computer. That was our seventh take for this cover, which meant I was having a good day. Usually I messed up with my guitar, forgot the words, or Ethan forgot to record it. That happened a lot.
Ethan and I sat together at the computer. I wasn't very tech-handy, that's why I had Ethan. He was a genius with the computer and he was my one and only best friend.
"It's downloading. Wanna go get a bite to eat?" Ethan asked, getting up and putting away the tripod.
"Mm, food. Sounds great." I said, smiling at him. I got up, grabbed my bag, and slipped on my shoes. Ethan drove us to Java Lava, our favorite place to eat. I jumped out of the car and skipped over to Ethan, eager to get some food in my grumbling stomach.

After filling myself with a Java Lava cup-o-carma, a slice of cheesecake, and two croissants, I walked out the door with Ethan. We decided to walk off our full stomachs and go window shopping. We took a left turn down Freward Avenue and headed down to our favorite shops. After walking through two shops that Ethan wanted to look in, we passed by a large window with a big banner hanging down in it. I walked past it, figuring it was the shop advertising a new pair of shoes or something. Ethan had stopped though, and after I paused and turned around, I noticed he looked extremely excited.
"What is it?" I asked, shifting from one foot to the other.
"It's a competition on YouTube. Kade, we need to do this."
"What's the lame prize?"
"A day with One Direction."
"You think that's real? They probably use that just to get more covers of their songs on YouTube."
