Accident Around The Corner

~Urata's POV~

The next day I awoke at 9:00 a.m. and had immediately to think about what happened in yesterday's evening. I remembered the group of guys who tried to steal my money. I was really scared of them, because they were all very tall and I'm such a shortie. As I thought about Sakata, who helped me with them, I was a little bit disappointed with myself, because I couldn't do anything and in the end, one of the guys hit him. I was really angry at myself and a little bit sad, since he was hurt due the fact that he tried to protect me. At the same time I was incredibly relieved, because they certainly would have done bad things to me. I didn't even want to think about that. I discarded these thoughts and noticed that I was hungry.

I slowly brought myself to stand up and after that I leisurely dragged myself into the kitchen to eat something. As I was about to nibble my careals my phone suddenly began to ring. On the screen was displayed the name of Sakata, I already awaited his call, because he said yesterday that he wanted to contact me. I picked it up and said in a low voice, "Hello, Sakata-san. Nice to hear from you." I heard a little laughter at the other end of the line and then he explained, "I already said I would call you today, didn't I?" I smiled a bit and said happily, "Yes, you said something like that yesterday, I start to remember." Sakata suddenly started to speak in a very serious voice and changed the topic rapidly, "Do you want to meet up with me? Today? We can go everywhere you want to!" I laughed a bit and then suggested, "Can we go to a café which sells ice? I really would like to eat one with you and I already heard of a got one. I have free time right now so how about we meet there in about 5 minutes? At the park?" He immediately answered with a loud "ouf course!" I grinned and ended the call, after I said goodbye to him and told him where the café was.

I made myself ready as fast as I could. I looked forward to meet up with Sakata because finally we could do everything that couples do and that made me very excited and I literally flew to our meeting point.

After a few minutes I saw how Sakata slowly came closer to my position and he already grinned like a little boy that got candies from his mother. I immediately began to smile, too ,because he was just too cute like this.

He arrived at my standing point and said happily, "Hey Urata-san. Finally, we see each other again, huh?" I laughed a little bit at this statement and answered, "Didn't we yesterday went together to this festival where we became a couple? You remember, don't you?" Sakata smiled and then pulled me towards him and put his lips on mine. My mind went completely blank. A warm feeling went through my whole body and I hoped it would never stop. After a few seconds he moved away and whispered, "How could I forget such an important moment? It was the happiest in my whole life. You're the most perfect and the cutest thing in this world, I will never lose those memories in which you finally became mine alone." As he spoke those words I blushed really hard. This were the kindest words, someone said to me in my whole life. I couldn't think of a little thing to answer, because I was so stunned. Sakata stood in front of me and smiled at me like he already knew that I didn't know what to say. He just turned around and moved in the direction where the café was and I slowly followed him.

As we arrived there I finally could think about something to say and said to him, "I want a banana split." He looked at me, still smiling like a little kid and then asked, "Do you want to share it with me?" I answered a little bit surprised, "If it is alright with you, of course. He went to a table in front of the shop and sat down. I went there, too, and took a seat in front of him. As we waited for a waitress to come, we talked about many different topics, for example about our concert which is in some days, or about Luz who is really weird in the last time.

After a few minutes a waitress came and we could give her our order, besides the banana split, we ordered two orange juices. Our order was finished after about 10 minutes and as I saw the waitress with it, I was very surprised because the banana split was bigger than I expected.

Sakata thanked the woman who brought our order and put it in the middle of us, so we both could grab it easily. I took my orange juice and one spoon and after I said "itadakimasu" I slowly began to eat the banana split, which was really delicious.

Sakata did the same thing, but he was much faster than I'm and I thought that he would definitely get headache from the ice.

It hasn't even taken a minute as he already complained that his head hurts. I just could laugh about this, because it was really cute and just like him to do such things.

After we both finished the banana split we whispered a little "go-chisou-sama deshita" and paid for the ice and then slowly walked towards our homes.

As we arrived at a traffic light I suddenly heard a loud squeak, after that a loud bang and some people who were asking what happened.

I looked in the direction where it came from and stood there like ice, as I saw a car which had hit a dog, which now laid on the street and bled. It reminded me how my dog died because of a car crash, as I still was a kid and I felt very lost in this moment. All the feelings I had that day suddenly came back and I didn't even realized anymore what happened. The main reason for this was that as a kid, I only had this dog, my parents were always working and so I was alone with the dog all the time, he was something like my brother for me. The only thing I still noticed was Sakata, who looked worried at me, maybe because he knew that I am very sensitive when it comes to something like this. The only thing that I could do was grabbing Sakata's arm as tight as I could. I had to look like a little kid, which was scared of something, but at that time I didn't even care about this. I was just too shocked and traumatized.

I even started to cry, at this moment I was really released and happy that Sakata pulled me in a tight hug, so that nobody noticed that I was crying, but still a few people looked at us like we were aliens. But I didn't realize that anyway.

The moment I slowly was aware of everything that happened around me, I saw Sakata who still was hugging me. I looked at him and whispered, "I'm alright, you can let go." Sakata turned his head to mine and answered, "You're sure? You looked really pale all of sudden and I know that you're really bothered because of this." I forced a little smile and then said, "It's OK now. I've calmed down. We can go back, trust me." Sakata looked at me, still not very satisfied with my answer, and let go of me. He turned around and slowly began to walk in the direction in which our houses were. I walked beside him and as we finally arrived at a street without any people, which was about 100m from our houses. I took Sakata's hand and lowered my head and sobbed a little. Sakata realized that right away and stand still. After a few second I looked at him and some tears fell down my cheeks. He pulled me towards him and with his hand he wiped away my tears after that he said in a low voice, "You aren't alright, don't you?" I nodded and cried even more. I tried to tell him what was wrong,"It just really hit me and brought all those sad memories back, you know, after my dog died I was very lonely. The whole day I had no one to play with, I had no friends or something like this. It was a very hard and lonely time." Even though I could say these words I had to sob very often, but Sakata just stood there and listened to me. It was a relief to me to have someone like him.

After he heard my story, he took both of my hands and said in an a quiet sad tone, "You aren't alone anymore! I'm right beside you! I will never leave you. Please, just stop crying. You know, otherwise I have to cry, too!" I smiled a little bit at this and whispered, "You're right, with you I'm finally not alone anymore. I'm very thankful for this, you know?" He gave me a soft, gentle smile and answered, "Of course. It's exactly the same for me. I really, really love you. So please don't be unhappy anymore." Even though it was hard for me, I smiled and finally everything felt a little bit better, than before. He was just like an angel, an angel that could make my whole life just like a dream.

He smiled at me and put his lips on mine. I felt how everything that bothered me literally fell of and I just enjoyed this amazing feeling and the softness of his lips. As we parted after a few seconds I looked at him and said a little bit smiling, "I love you, too."
