Across The Moat

~Kradness POV~

On Monday after the concert Luz and I wanted to hang out together or better said, we had our first date. Of course I wanted to look good, but I had known Luz for a long time now, so I decided that everything I would wear was okay for him. He would never complain about what I wear.

At half past two I went to the bus stop and luckily caught the bus that was already there. I got in and had to sit in the front of the bus, because on the other seats people were already sitting . I didn't like to sit there. Everyone was looking at you when they got in, at least I thought so. I didn't like to go by bus in general. It was always boring alone. I never had someone to talk to, because I was the only one at my age that lived in that part of the town. Except me there were only older people or little kids. I was glad when I graduated from school, because after that I didn't had to go by bus everyday anymore.

After half an hour of boredom, I arrived the bus stop next to the indoor water park that Luz and I were going to meet at. Even though the water park was not far away, I have never been there before. I always wanted to go there, but never had time to do it.

I got out of the bus and already saw Luz standing a few metres left to the bus stop. I immediately smiled when I saw him and went to him. "Hey Luz, you're already here"? I greeted him still smiling. "Of course. I didn't want to come to late to our first date. That would have made a bad impression, right?" He said with a little smile on his face. I blushed when I heard the word "date". I knew that it was one, but the thought still made my heart beat a little faster. Of course he noticed that and smiled a bit more. I was glad he did'nt said anything about it. "Right. That would have let you look like an unreliable person." I agreed to what he said. He let out a little laugh and then suggested, "Let's go in, or we won't make it to the movie we want to see afterwards." I looked at the building in front of us and nodded. "Let's go."

After we bought tickets, we went to the bathing cabins. I wanted to go into a cabin next to Luz's, but he pulled me into his and locked it right after I was next to him.

After a few seconds I realized what was happening and I blushed really hard and looked a bit unsure at him. "What-", "I just want to help you change." He pulled off my shirt. "I can do that by myself Luz-kun." I tried to explain. But it didn't stop him. "I won't do anything lewd to you in here, but I can't promise anything when we're at my home." He said with a grin on his face. I blushed harder and looked away to hide my embarrassment. "You're a pervert Luz-kun!" I said. "One of us has to be the top, right?" I looked at him and felt how my ears got warm due to the embarrassment. "How can you already think about this?" I asked. "How can I not?" He answered. He avoided my question, but I thought nothing of it.

When we were finished with changing we left the cabin, locked our clothes into a locker and made our way into the water park. It was huge and had a lot of different attractions, I really looked forward to use.

At first I and Luz decided to go into a wave pool. I never was prepared for the next wave and I'm not a really good swimmer either, so I often swallowed a lot of the water and after not even 10 minutes I wanted to get out of this pool.

I took Luz hand and pulled him out of it. He looked a bit confused at me. "What's wrong Krad-kun?" He asked. "I swallowed lots of water and don't want to continue this." I said a bit embarrassed. "Oh, I understand. Then we could slide with the water slide?" He wanted to know. "That's a great idea." I said with a little smile.

I hoped that I wouldn't get hurt while sliding or even swallowed more water. I hated the taste of the water in swimming pools. I think no one likes this or they're just crazy. I lost Luz in the line that was in front of the many different slides. It was really fun.

I got out of the little pool that was at the end of the slide and looked around. I decided to wait for him by the slides. I was sure I would get lost, if I searched for him in this building.

A few minutes later I saw him on the other side of the slides. I shouted his name and walked in his direction, of course he had noticed me right away and smiled at me. As clumsy as I was, I stumbled and fell directly into his arms. I felt lucky and unlucky at the same time, of course it was good that I didn't hit the ground, but on the other side it had to look weird when two boys stood there, like we did now.

Immediately I got back on my feet and made a step back. "I-I'm sorry." I mumbled. As I looked into Luz face, I could see a smile on his lips. "I'm glad that I caught you." He said proudly. "Thank you." I answered after I stood some seconds in front of him and thought about what I should say now.

"Do you want to go into the whirlpool to warm up a bit?" Luz asked me after another moment of silence. "Yes, that's a really great Idea. I'm a bit tired by all the swimming." I said. Luz and I went to the whirlpool that stood in a corner of the water park. It was relatively small and it was already full of people, but I hoped we still would get a free space to sit.

When we arrived there, there was only space for one of us. Luz sat down and I stood there, not knowing what to do now. "You can sit on my lap, Krad-kun." I blushed a bit, but did what he said without complaining. I was sure that if I had started talking, I surely would have said something unnecessary or embarrassing for the both of us.

Now I sat there, on Luz lap in a whirlpool, full of people that were looking at us, some more and some less confused. I was blushing and let my eyes down, so I didn't have to see their gazes again. "Do you want to go Krad-kun?" He whispered in my ear. I was really sensitive there and got goosebumps because of this action. I thought a second and then nodded. I stood up still trying to avoid the eyes of the other people and went out of the whirlpool. Luz followed me and after that we tried out the other attractions, before we left the water park at 6 o'clock p.m..

We grabbed something to eat on the way to the cinema and at half past six we arrived there. The movie was about to start and we rushed to our seats. We didn't had time to buy something to eat or to drink, but at least we arrived some seconds before the movie started. We chose places in the middle of the last row.

The movie was actually pretty good, but when it was about to end, Luz took my hand and my attention for the movie was lost. "What are you doing?" I asked him in a whisper. Luz whispered back, "I want to feel that you are here with me and that I'm not dreaming." I blushed after he said that. I looked at him and recognized that his face was slowly moving towards mine. Somehow I wanted that to happen all the time. I got closer to him till our lips finally touched. I closed my eyes and after a few seconds I felt how Luz hand stroke my cheek. The warmth of his lips and the feeling it gave me every time was amazing. I hoped I never would lose him.

I moved a bit away and looked at the movie that was already at the end. "Do you want to come to my home today?" Luz asked when he stood up. I stood up, too. For a second I thought about it and then I nodded . "Of course I want to." I said a bit nervously. He smiled and took my hand. "Then we should waste no time." He said and went with me out of the cinema.
