Katniss POV
one week later
"So how many guys have you fucked this week?" My best friend, Johanna asks.
"Only 2" I answer whilst I turn into the shopping mall.
"Only 2? Everdeen what the fuck is wrong with you?"
I stop my car when I park into a space and turn to her, "well the first guy was amazing and I-"
"You actually liked a guy?" She asks surprised.
"I liked the sex" I clarify.
"Really because you've said you liked the sex before but you've never wanted to see them again"
"How do you know I wanted to see him again?"
"Because you've only slept with one guy since him"
"Ugh fine, so maybe I do want to see him again"
Johanna smirks and raises an eyebrow at me, "for the sex" I remind her as I step out my car.
"Sure. Sureeee" she responds, making me roll my eyes.
"Anyway, why are we at this mall? We never come here?" I ask. Johanna called me up this morning saying she wanted to try a new place but if I know anything about Johanna Mason, she hates new things.
"Well apparently a really good bakery has opened up here, The Mellark Bakery or something" she answers and I freeze dead in my tracks. Mellark. Didn't Peeta say his last name was Mellark?
"You know Johanna I'm actually feeling ill, I need to go home, I might be sick, might be sick on you, might be sick in a plant, or just another person, either way I think I'm really coming down with something, so I better go I-"
But Johanna doesn't listen, she just hooks her arm in mine and pulls me into the mall, "Brainless, if you've got morning sickness, food helps"
MORNING SICKNESS?
"What the fuck Johanna? Who said morning sickness, unlike you I use protection"
"Hey that was one time and I didn't let it happen again! And also I'm surprised you used protection with this mystery guy of yours, the way you're talking about him, you sound like you wanna marry him" she answers back.
"I only said he was a good fuck" I snap back, defensively.
"No you said and I quote, 'was amazing'"
"I hate you" I tell her.
Johanna pulls me into this 'Mellark Bakery' and of course. Of course. OF FUCKING COURSE. The guy I fucked a week ago is working behind the counter.
We walk up to order but Johanna has other ideas. She drags me to just at the side of the counter, then pushes me behind it, making me bump into Peeta.
He looks confused until his eyes lock in mine and he gives me a smile. I smile back politely before turning back to Johanna and widening my eyes, "What?" She says, "it might help you get over this mysterious guy, a week is a long time Katniss"
I don't think I've ever been so mortified in my life. I turn back to Peeta who seems to be standing there smirking, "a week huh?" He questions and of course Johanna replies back.
"Yeah it was some guy, apparently he was amazing in bed, so you have a lot to live up to Blondie"
"Is that so?" Peeta asks me. I quickly excuse myself to go to the toilet because I can't be in this situation anymore. Just the look at Peeta alone makes me wet and horny. And I'm not going to stand there talking about the other week with him in a public restaurant.
I'm just about to go into the girls toilets when I get pulled in to the disabled. I look to see Peeta standing there but without his 'Mellark Bakery' apron on this time.
"So an amazing fuck huh?" Is the first thing he says.
I feel the temperature rising in this little toilet and my breathing hitches when Peeta starts kissing my neck.
I go to move my hands to his hair but instead he pins them above my head. I feel my body jerking forward and my head rising with the way his kisses make me feel.
He then snaps his hips forward, making me cry out in pleasure.
"You were a pretty good fuck too" he states simply when he pulls away from me, "I would love to see you again"
I would usually say no to this offer but I think I'm into Peeta. Just for sex of course. I've not liked anyone since him and I don't plan on letting anyone else into my life but Peeta might be fun. Oh who am I saying; I know he'll be fun.
I kiss his lips and when I pull away I nod, "I'll see you at my apartment later" I tell him.
I walk out the toilet and sit down to see Johanna has ordered.
Peeta walks out the toilet minutes later and winks at me.
This is going to be a good night.
