Terezi told me to meet her at our favorite restaurant for our date. I'm so excited, I think I don't know how I feel. But its time to go.
-Third person POV-
Terezi waited patiently at the table, playing with her food. 'How can I make Karkat not like me?! I've tried being gross and even fucking smoking! He is still with-' The floors of the restaurant creaked pulling Terezi out of her thoughts. "HEY TEREZI." Karkat smiled, he had never called his matesprit anything other than her name. He didn't know why but he felt as if it was cheating. Why, well when he asked himself the same question Dave popped up in his head though he threw the thought away. "H3y lov3, how 4r3 you?" Karkat sat across from her and shrugged. "GOOD I GUESS." He played with his snake bites. "Wh3n d1d you g3t th4t don3?" Again, he shrugged off the question.
"Wh4t do you f1nd un4ttr4ct1v3? Just so 1 know?" Karkat eyed the blind troll and also thought about the question. "SOMEONE STUCK UP AND BITCHY. WHO NEVER TRIES TO BR INTERESTED IN WHAT I LIKE." Terezi lets that play in her mind as she thought of a plan. "Your food is here." The waitress said slamming down Karkat's unordered food. "I DIDN'T ORDER THIS." The waitress looked at Karkat and hearts formed in her eyes. "Oh, I'm so sorry please, your meal is free." She ran off, taking the food to the right table. "WELL SHE SEEMS NICE." Terezi nodded, still planning out an idea. A dark chuckle slipped out of her lips causing Karkat to eye her. "Um sorry K4r, 1 r3m3mb3r3d som3th1ng stup1d."
He nodded, nibbling his lip. "W4nn4 sk1p th1s pl4c3 4nd s33 4 mov13?" Karkat nodded and got up holding out his hand. Terezi grabbed it linking her fingers with his and smiled, well faked a smile. 'Time for the movie!' Terezi laughed silently.
-Terezi's POV-
I didn't let Karkat see the movie as I paid for our tickets. 'He hates scary movies. This should go as planned.' I smiled as we took our seats. The plan was simply. Watch the movie, watch Karkat get scared, when he asked to leave I say no, wait until he is so mad he gets up and leaves. "WHAT MOVIE ARE WE WATCHING?" He asked as he sat down nibbling his straw. "You'll s33, lov3." I smiled as the lights went out. "THE D-DARKNESS?" He was shaking. I shook my head, smiling. "1 lov3 sc4ry mov13. So much f34r 1ts fun!" He pulled his legs to his chest, whispering "stay tough" and stuff. After ten minutes in, a jump scare popped up and Karkat freaked out so hard he fell out of his chair.
I bit my lip, holding in a laugh helping him up. "TEREZI, CAN WE PLEASE LEAVE? I DON'T LIKE THIS." He was begging just like I planned. "But b4b3, th3 mov13 just st4rt3d." I pouted. He keep begging but I have him the same answer. He finally shut up and slumped back into his chair. A little boy gets slammed against a wall as black liquid fell from his mouth. Karkat started crying, like full out crying. 'Shit! This isn't the plan!! What should I do?' As I was thinking of something else, Karkat got up and left. Like full on left, not a single goodbye. "The nerve." I groaned.
-Karkat's POV-
After I had begged Terezi we should go, I texted Dave. 'I like Terezi and all but I can't watch this anymore.'

CG: ASSHOLE, COME PICK ME UP FROM THE MOVIES..
TG: Why?
CG: TEREZI IS MAKING ME WATCH A SCARY MOVIE AND I'M FREAKED THE FUCK OUT.
TG: Ask her to leave?
CG: I DID SHE SAID NO.
TG: Fine I'll see you soon
CG: WHATEVER!

I looked at the screen and saw a little kid get slammed into a wall by nothing. I began to cry, I can't help it. I just grabbed my stuff and walked out not caring about Terezi. Dave was already outside with Rachel by her side. "Kitkat!!" She screamed and hugged my leg. "HEY KID." Dave smiled at me and pointed to a book store. "Bro wanted some manga so I got to get some before we can get you home, okay?" I nodded. Whenever I'm around Dave, I get butterflies in my stomach. 'Do I think of him as my morail or my matespritship?'
Soon he will know the answer!!
