Those words eoched through his mind as he sat in his room. "DAVE..HE DOESN'T LIKE ME. WE JUST MET, SHE MUST HAVE BEEN JOKING?" Karkat though aloud playing with his black sleep shirt. He had his hair pulled into a small ponytail so it was out of his face. "K6rk6t, f6ther would like to t6lk to you." Kankri said, calmly and happy clearly in a good mood. The young Vantas simply walked out to his father still lost in deep thought.
"Karkat, are you okay? You seem a little out of it." Signless said pulling his light brown-ish hood off. Karkat gave a nod still thinking about the words Rachel told him. "Well, me and Disciple are going on a date. Please be good, I ordered some pizza." Signless smiled fixing his hair. "WHAT HAPPENED WITH GRAND HIGHBLOOD?" Signless looked down, fixing his red tie. "He just wanted to be friends." Karkat again just nodded. Signless noticed that his son was being bothered by something but decided against saying anything.
"Well I'm out. Be good Karkat," Signless walked to the door. "You too, Cronus!" He yelled, laughing as a 'have fun, Mr. Vantas' came down the stairs. The man walked out, leaving Karkat to think more about the words. 'I think my Uncle likes you.' Thr words made Karkat's heart beat faster. "DO..I LIKE HIM TOO? NO!" The troll ran up to his room and started talking to his bestfriend.

'Shit did I just hook my best friend up with my girlfriend?' I sighed looking at my weed plant Bill. "MaN, wHaT's WrOnG wItH mE?" I ran a hand through my messy hair. My phone screamed honk meaning someone was calling me. I hit answer, not caring about the person. "H3y b4b3!" Terezi's sweet voice said. "HeY, sO iM gOiNg To TeLl YoU sOmEtHiNg And yOu CaN't GeT mAd." I heard her nod only because her glasses were hitting her nose. "I hOoKeD yOu Up WiTh KaRbRo On AcCiDeNt." No sound came from the other side of the phone.
'I'm so screwed!' "So wh4t, 1'll just t3ll h1m no." Her voice was still calm. "YoU cAnT dO tHaT. iT wIlL bReAk HiS hEaRt." I imagined Karkat crying and running to me telling me what happened. "So..you w4nt your g1rlfr13nd to d4t3 your b3stfr13nd?" I made a small honk noise, which we both knew meant yes. She only sighed and agreed. "ThAnKs BaBe, I oWe YoU oNe." She hung up leaving me alone with Bill. I sighed again and grabbed my bong. "LeT's TaKe A tRiP bIlL!"
