There was a thick and uncomfortable silence in the air. "YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO TELL ME YOU KNOW, ASSWIPE." Karkat said breaking the horrible silence. "I know..I just feel like I can trust you." Dave spoke honestly, shrugging his shoulders. His house door slammed opened as two tall men stood on his door step. One was a blonde with shades covering his orange eyes, the other had dark brown hair with black rimed glasses to show off his, oh so, green eyes. "Why in the ever loving fuck aren't you two at school?!" The beautiful blonde yelled seeing the troll with his younger brother. "Dirk..we did leave him with Rachel." The sexy brunette said matter-of-factly. "I don't care! He needs to pass!" Dirk yelled at his husband. He quickly regretted that move when Jake pinned him to a wall. "Don't yell at me! We left Rachel in his hands. I'm sure the school would have sent him home anyway." Jake looked over his shoulder at the two. "You boys okay?" He said his rich British accent clear. They both gave him a nod scared to end up getting pinned.

He removed his arm from Dirk's neck and kisses him lightly. "I'm going to check on my little angel." Jake smiled heading up the stairs. Dirk had calmed down and looked at the teens. "You a friend of little man's?" Karkat looked at the two brothers then gave a small, unsure, nod. "Cool, I hope you don't mind the smupuppets. Actually, I don't care." The older out of the three shrugged grabbing a puppet. "This is Lil Cal. Treat him nice, he is the eyes around here." Karkat looked at the super creepy doll. "OKAY, HOW LONG UNTIL SCHOOL ENDS? I NEED MY ANCESTOR TO THINK I WENT." Dave looked at him though his eyes showing emotions Karkat couldn't see. 'Not yet.' Dave repeated in his head. "School is over in a few hours. So what do you want to do?" Karkat looked around and saw his favorite love story. He jumped up, grabbed the cd, and did a little fan-girl dance.

"I take it you like that movie." The Striders said together and chuckled. "IT'S MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME! IT'S THE FIRST LOVE STORY I'VE EVER WATCHED." The short troll smiled quickly putting in the movie. Jake and Rachel walked down the stairs, seeing the troll and Striders sitting on the couch ready for the movie. "What are we watching?" Jake asked sitting on his husband's lap as Rachel sat in Karkat's. No one answered the Australian as the movie began. Rachel whispered into Karkat's ear and giggled. Her words ran through his skull.

"I think my Uncle likes you."

(Sorry I know its short but still!)
