"Oh, Pete I'm sorry I couldn't've been here," Peter apologized.
"It's alright, Dad." Pete told his father. They both turned to me.
"I can't thank you enough, Patrick for being here for Pete."
"It's no problem, sir." I told him as Pete grabbed my hand, his touch sent tingles up my arm.
"Pete turned you?" He asked and I nodded. "I wish he would have waited until I returned home."
"Why?" Pete asked.
"It would have been less painful for Patrick. Without the alpha present, the transformation hurts much more than it would if I was present." He explained.
"It wasn't that bad." I lied, but once I think about it, it's worth it.
"Okay, then. I'm gonna go to the store to buy groceries, see you two later." He said and waved as he left. Pete turned to me.
"This is gonna be the last time I ask, I promise, do you feel any different?" He asked and I nodded. "Good different or bad different?"
"Good different." I replied chuckling.
"So you wouldn't mind if I kissed you?" I shook my head and he smiled before leaning in and pressing his lips to mind. I could say some cliche thing about sparks. And I'm gonna. I felt sparks fly.
