-Third Person POV-
-Full Moon-Patrick and Pete stood in the woods together and watched the sun set. Pete was just wearing a pair of shorts, while Patrick was bundled up in winter gear. After you're first transformation, your body heat gets substantially warmer and makes it easier for you to survive in the cold.
"How much longer?" Patrick asked shivering.
"Maybe about fifteen minutes." Pete said looking at the smaller boy.
"I-I'm c-c-cold," Pete wrapped his arms around Patrick, even though he knew it wouldn't make a difference, he still wanted an excuse to be close to Patrick.
"I know, but you have to take that gear off, otherwise it will get shredded." Pete said letting go. Patrick nodded and started getting undressed until he was standing in the snow with nothing but boxers on. He was now shivering more. "Any minute now, Trick,"
As if on cue Patrick's back arched and made snapping sounds as all the bones in his body broke and reshaped themselves for the first time. Patrick screamed in agony. It hurt Pete to watch. He wasn't gonna change until Patrick was done, because he could control his change and didn't want to make Patrick feel rushed.
Patrick screamed even louder as his teeth and snout extended and grew hair everywhere. His scream turned into a howl as he got down on all fours and his hands and feet shrunk into paws. The first time was never very pretty.
Once the process was done, Patrick fainted to the ground in exhaustion. Pete quickly kneeled to his side and held his head in his hands. He'd wake up any minute now. Pete backed up and quickly changed into his wolf form almost painlessly. He felt bad about lying to Patrick about the pain of the transformation, but he didn't want him worried.
