When I entered the gate, I was welcomed by different colors. Clutching my blank canvas under one arm, I sat down the grass. I brought out a notebook and started to sketch.
"Hoy! Kinakausap kita!," she jokingly waved in front of me.
The girl wore a black sweater with sleeves up to her elbow. Her hair was scarlet...hindi pala, iyong dulo lang ng buhok niya ang mapula. Ang mga mata rin niya ay may pagkabrown which is unusual for a pure Filipina so I assumed she was somehow half-Spanish or something.
"Hoy!
She sat down beside me and tried to peek at my sketch pero mabilis pa sa alas-kuwatro ko iyong itinago para hindi niya makita. "Tsk. "By the way, I'm Keira. And you are?"
"A-arkin."
And that's how I met her.
