Chapter 31

It's one sided now..

Finally! It's tonight! It's tonight! I was dancing around spinning while holding a bouquet of flowers. There's a song inside of my head. Lalalalalalalala~

'idiot!' Adim knocked my head softly. I turned to him. He was holding his laughter. I looked around and noticed people there were looking at me. Gosh, I forgot!

I was in charge to decorate our class's tables for the dinner that night. The venue of the dinner held at our college main open assembly area. The open space there were huge and can be occupied by all the students comfortably. A huge open stage was also situated at a corner of the area. I was in charged to decorate our tables (our class area) plus I was assigned as one of the committee members to decorate the whole dinner place. Together with Adim. There's a lot of things to do, decorate our class area and the whole assembly area. Could things get any better?

oh, it's just did. Guess what, my whole classmates came to help! I'm so touched. I stared at the stage, we will be performing there tonight. I still can't believe that I was dancing in front of all those student being day-dreaming about tonight. That was embarrassing.

'let's go. We need to help the other committee members to decorate the whole place' said Adim while pulling away the bouquet from my hand. He then gave them to Zira. 'well, we'll be leaving' he said to Zira and to the rest of our classmates as he pulled me together with him. 'thanks for your help, guys. Call me if you need anything' I managed to gave out words before leaving. Me and Adim went to a corner where we were called to. 'oh, it's the red-carpet I asked' I said. Adim turned toward the location I was looking. 'you asked?' he said. I nodded. 'since the theme is Ladies and Gentlemen. Having this kind of add-point would bring up the moods more' I explained. 'true' he said. 'then, should I go and set up the carpet?' I said and went near the carpet I requested. Adim followed me. He helped me carry the roll of carpet to a place.

'it would be better if we set it up here, right?' I asked. 'yeah, from here, the main entrance heading to the stage' he gets my idea. 'people who will use this red-carpet will be walking in the middle of the audience' I added. 'well, let's get to it' he said. I nodded. We were too focused in our work.

'have you heard, our homeroom lecturer will be buying us special dessert, for tonight' said Adim attracting my attention. I was surprised since I know nothing about it. 'really?' I asked. He smiled and nodded. I went toward him. 'what is it?' I asked. 'I don't know' he said. 'you do..you know!' I said poking him a little. He laughed. 'Sheira..that's tickle' he avoided me. 'tell me' I said following him. He laughed again. 'work!' he said. 'see. You do know' I glares at him. He chuckles. 'I'll tell you after finishing this' he said. 'okay! Come, let me pullll..urg-' I said in a cheerful mode and as I was pulling the carpet roll, I fell on my butt. He laughed. REALLY loud. 'not funny, Adim!' I said. 'for me, yes' he said and continued laughing. I sighed. It doesn't hurt so I feel like laughing as well. And I did. 'you're interesting, Sheira' he paused. I smiled. 'of course, I'm the one and only Sheira' I said being proud. He smirked.

'that's why I like you'

'huh?' I was staring at him. He was acting like it was nothing. He was doing the work. Did he even realize what he just said?

After finishing with the heavy red-carpet ( I wonder why I even requested for it? ), me and Adim went to help with other things.

'yo' Zaeim came to us. I glances and saw Harry as well. 'hi, boys' I said. 'you two as committee members as well?' asked Harry. 'yeah. Our homeroom lecturer said that work very well together' said Adim. He glances at me. 'wrong' I paused. 'I worked well, he's just a servant for me' I said. 'you!' Adim rubbed my head hard. 'urgh!' I slapped away his hand.

'oh, you two were committee members too?' I asked Harry and Zaeim. 'yes' answered Harry. 'which part is your territory?' I asked for their work. 'technician' answered Zaeim short. 'anyway, where would your class be, Sheira?' asked Zaeim. 'there' I said pointing at a direction. I see Rena from afar. 'we should continue' said Adim suggestion since I need to go for a meet up with The Coffees later. I nodded. 'we will get going now. See you boys later' I said waving goodbye toward Harry and Zaeim. I left with Adim.

'those two were very good looking' said Adim short. I glances at him. Silent. He turned to me. 'Sheira, I'm not gay. I really thinks that both of them are good looking' he said noticing I was staring at him awkwardly. I grins. 'I didn't say anything' I said. Adim smirked. 'you should be careful around handsome guys, thou' he said warning. I glances at him as I was looking forward. 'why?' I asked. 'they might be a silent wolf' he said again. 'wolf?' I asked not understanding. He smiles. 'I would never want anything bad happen to you' he said and walk away from me. Geez. I can never understand what he's thinking.

Maybe, I'm just too blurr..

It is finally tonight. I went to meet with The Coffees with Rena after making sure that our place set up were well and in place. I want every one to be comfortable during the dinner. Chairs and situated at their place in good arrangement. The Coffees will have a final touch up for our warming up slot and we need to try out our outfit that Shila and Fira got for us. I wonder what kind of outfit I'll be wearing for tonight's performance. I'm so looking forward to it!
