Harry's POV
It's decided..
Me and Zaeim were the representatives for our class as the committee members. I was chosen since me and my homeroom lecturer were very close to each other. We were like buddies and hanged out for bowling together a lot. Well, he's not married yet so, it's obvious. I was supposed to be together with a girls from my class but she had an urgent matter involving her family so Zaeim ended up volunteering for her spot. It's was actually a good thing, we can finished the committee work quickly together and head to meet up with Rhythm for a short practice. It's finally tonight.
I was walking with Zaeim when I saw Sheira and Adim from afar. They were preparing the red carpet for tonight, I assumed.
'they looked very close' said Zaeim. He started to poisoning my mind. I glares at him.
'what?' he asked.
'nothing' I shakes my head and walk away.
'you know, you've finally realizing it, aren't you?' he asked me again. I ignored him, still walking.
'your feelings, you've noticed it, right?' this time, he managed to stop my footsteps. I turned to him. He grinned. 'so?' he asked again. I sighed and walk away. He laughed.
'I'll take that as a YES' he said loud enough for me to hear it.
'Harry!' I turned toward the voice that called me. 'oh' I said after I saw Risya and my classmate, Emire. They know each other, they're from the same high school.
'where are you two going?' Emire asked. I turned to her. 'committee work' I said.
'hey, Harry..' Emire paused. I lift one of my eyebrow toward her wondering what she wants to say.
'there will be an event tonight during the dinner called 'Lights Sky'..' she paused. I looked at Zaeim and then at her again. 'what's that?' I asked. Both Risya and Emire went silent.
'you know, a pair of students light up a floating lantern and let it float through the air' Risya explained.
'okay, then..what's with it?' I asked. I stared into Emire's eyes.
'want to light it up together?' she said. 'together?' I asked. She nodded. 'just you and me?' I asked again. She nodded after a while. 'and..why is that?' I asked. Silence. I noticed that both Risya and Emire were looking at me.
'anyway, I'll see you tonight' said Emire pulling Risya away. Risya came back after a while.
'you can refuse her offer if you have other plan with Sheira' she winked at me and left. I stared at Zaeim who was already laughing. 'looks like Sheira's roommates already approved you' he said. I laughed.
'I don't know man' I paused. 'anyway, what's with the floating lantern?' I asked. I began walking toward a direction and Zaeim walked next to me. 'you haven't heard?' he paused. 'if a pair of students light up the lantern together and it float, their relationship will be eternity' he explained. 'love myth?' I asked. He nodded. 'does it really need to be pairs?' I asked. He shrugged. I laughed.
'anyway, let's go to practice'
