-James! What on earth did I tell you about reading Harry a bedtime story?
He turned around to look at his beloved wife.
-That I was supossed to read it to him before putting him to sleep? That's how the whole system of "Bedtime reading" works, Lily. - He said, not paying a lot of attention to what was happening around him.
-You read him a story about dragons, you know how much he hates them! He's only 4, for goodness sake James. Now he's crying upstairs because "Daddy told him a story about dragons burning his broomstick"! - Said Lily
-Oh come on Lily, he has to be prepared for all sorts of things. You never know if a Hungarian Horntail won't chase him across a quidditch field, burning his broom. Those sort of things happen, you know.
-So now you can go upstairs and tell him another story, about your stupidness, I'm sure he'll like to hear about that too.
James turned around to his best friends.
-Padfoot?
-I got this.
Sirius got up from his seat and made his way to his godchild.
Once he opened the doors, little harry stopped bawling his eyes, and looked at his godfather.-Padfowt!. - Harry clapped his little hands.
-Yes, I know harry. Your dad was never good at using his imagination, yet alone his brain. - He had to stop there as he heard his friend's voice from downstairs saying:
-We can still hear you Sirius!
Which he ignored.-Okay, so how about I'll tell you a story?- Sirius sat on the nearest chair and smiled at Harry.
-Mr. And Mrs. Potter were proud to say that they were not perfectly normal, thank you very much.
Well, considering that they were wizards, they could've been called "unique", which is a nicer word to describe them rather than "weird".- For Merlin's beard, Sirius! Carry on and you won't be allowed in this house anymore!- he heard Lily shout.
-But except that, they were a loving family. They had a little pumpkin called Harry- He tickled Harry, which made him laugh. - And they would do anything for him. But once, a crazy looking man with a beard that could go down to his knees, told Harry's parents the challenges he would have to face in the future, because he could've been "the chosen one". The Potters promised to do everything for Harry that they could, so did Harry's favourite uncles, Sirius and Remus. Although Harry liked Sirius more - This time he could hear Remus's voice.
-Sirius, if you tell him that once more I'll kick you out through the window.
-Noted, Moony! - Sirius shouted back.
-Okay, Harry liked them both the same- he leaned closer to Harry and whispered - But he liked Sirius a tiny bit more. They all promised to guard Harry, even if he was the chosen one or not. They told the old wizard that they will be there for him, fighting till the end. The wizard, named Albus Dumbledore, told them Harry may not be the person who could save the wizarding world, but the probabilities were big. So as long as Harry Potter will stay alive, they will help him through everything they can.
He looked at his godchild, and decided to finish the story there, as he was already sleeping.
Sirius got up from his seat and went downstairs to his friends.
He got quite suprised when he saw all of them sitting at the top of the stairs, their faces turned to his direction.-What? - He asked.
-You do know that Harry is too young to understand this? - Asked Remus.
-Yes. But there will come a time where he will have to face the truth. - He replied.
-That story was beautiful, Sirius. - Said Lily.
-Thank you. Now could u please make me some space so I could go to the bathroom before I pee on your carpet like a dog?
-You ruined the moment, Padfoot. - Said James.
