Harry woke up, feeling dizzy and hot. He looked over to the bed next to him. Draco Malfoy was still sleeping on his bed, and so did the rest of the boys Harry shared his room with. Louis Atkinson, Blaise Zabini and Jack Lewis were the boys Harry have met the night before, at the feast. Harry could've sworn that Slytherin was not a house for him. He could hear the whispers coming from the Gryffindors when he was heading to the dungeons. "Slytherin is famous of dark magic, you should be happy you're not in it". He knew that his parents were in Gryffindor, and he didn't know how to feel about the fact that the son of Lily and James Potter, is in Slytherin instead, the house of the dark magic. The house were Lord Voldemort have been in.
He grabbed his glasses from the desk next to his bed, and tried to get up as quietly as possible. He didn't know what time it was, but he could hear the growling in his stomach that told him it would've been best if he found a kitchen as fast as possible. He left the dorm room making sure all of his mates are still sleeping, and entered the slytherin common room. It was dark and mysterious, with green couches and silver pillows. The thing that attracted Harry to it the most were the windows. Because the room was in the dungeons, the windows had a good look at the lake. Actually, Harry could swear that the common room was placed in the Lake, because the windows were covered in water, making it clear to see the large squib swimming in the Lake. He could sense the magic all around him.
It was probably way too early for anyone to be in the common room, yet Harry noticed a girl with long Brown hair sitting on one of the desks in the common room. She looked a bit older than Harry, most likely around 13 years. She was trying to write something on a piece of parchment very rapidly. She looked away from the piece of paper to see Harry staring at her.
- First year, Huh?- she asked.
-Yeah. What about you?- Harry asked the girl.
- I'm starting my third year today. Yet I still have homework to give in for my potions class. - She replied, looking back at the paper.
- You had homework over the summer? - Harry asked, suprised, coming closer to the table.
- Oh yeah. Only for potions though. Get used to it. Professor Snape likes making other people's lives miserable. - The girl said. - Although he favourites his fellow Slytherin students. He just hates me for some reason. - She whispered, making it hard for Harry to understand every word. He didn't know what to say to make the girl feel better.
- Breakfast will start soon, you should make your way to the great Hall. I can hear your stomach really wants food. - She told Harry and smiled.
- Thanks. - He said and turned around to make his way back to his dormitorium. He stopped near the stairs, turned around to the girl and said:
- My name is Harry.
The girl smiled and also introduced herself.
-Paige Fields.
Harry went back upstairs. He saw Louis sitting at the corner of his bed, trying to think about something.
- Hey, everything okay? Breakfast is going to start soon, maybe you want to come with me? - Harry asked kindly.
- Um, yeah, sure. Should we wake up the others? - Louis said.
- Good idea.
They began to shake each one of the boys so they'd wake up. Louis and Harry found it quite fun, especially when Blaise rolled over on his bed and fell off it. Yet he was still snoring.
Jack was the first person to get up. He looked around the room, shook his head in resignation, and got up and went to the bathroom the boys shared. Harry and Louis were still laughing at the fact that Blaise was sleeping on the floor, with his pillow over his head, and Draco didn't even move an inch since Louis and Harry tried to wake him up. They gave up after a few minutes, and decided to go to breakfast with Jack only. Harry was glad to hear that Jack knew where the great hall was, because both Louis and Harry couldn't find their way around the castle.
