Harry stood outside the King's cross station, waiting for his parents to arrive by his side. He said goodbye to Moony, because he couldn't come with them, as he had work for the order. Yet Sirius happily agreed to come with Harry and his parents because "Harry is my son, too, James. We all raised him, don't you be telling me lies".
James got out of the muggle car Lily resisted to drive with, so they wouldn't bring any of the muggles attention. James knew how to drive the muggle cars because Lily had been his wife for a long time, and she had told him all about the muggle things and how they work. James was very fascinated with a "rubber duck", but he still didn't know it's use.
-Harry, are you sure you have everything with you? - Lily asked.
-Yes, mum. I think I've got everything. - Harry replied.
-I know what we forgot. - James said, putting Harry's baggages on the floor.
-What is it?- Lily asked.
James turned around in the direction of their car.
-I forgot I closed the car before Sirius got out. Hang on, give me a second. - He said, running towards the car.
Lily shook her head, but she smiled at Harry.
-Your silly dad. - She said.
James returned 5 minutes later, with a black dog.
-You wouldn't bielieve this. - He said. -I went to the car, expecting to see Sirius, our Sirius, and guess who was sitting at the back? Yeah, him! -He pointed at the dog, who was running around Harry and Lily.
-People were giving me dirty looks. They kept saying that they would call the "police", which I suppose means aurrors in the muggle world, and that I'm a horrible owner for leaving my dog inside the car with no window opened on a hot day. I thought I was going to die of embarrassment. -James said, looking at the dog. He looked very disappointed. Meanwhile, the dog looked very happy of himself.
Lily rolled her eyes. -James, if you want to stay here and talk about how your life is depressing, then feel free to. But as you may of forgot, your son is going to hogwarts today, and I'm going to find the platform 9 and 3/4, before he misses his train. - Lily looked at him, to show him that he had no choice whether he wanted to stay where he was, or come with Lily and Harry.
-My son! - James looked at Harry. - Yes, okay, I'm coming.
He turned to look at Sirius.
-And you're staying here. Now be a good dog, and don't bring much attention of the muggles, will you?The dog didn't look happy about the choice James made for him, but he barked, which meant he agreed. He ran to Harry to say goodbye for the last time.
Harry got on his knees to hug the dog, which was exactly what Sirius wanted to do. He licked Harry's cheek, which made Harry giggle.
Harry got up to see his mum and dad smilling at him.-Ready?- James asked.
-Ready. - He replied.
---------------------------------------------------------
-Harry, remember to write to us at least twice a week. Eat properly. Get good grades at school.
-James..
-Don't forget to feed your owl too.
-James...
-And, make some new friends.
-James!- Lily finally shouted.
James raised his hand at Lily.
-Not now, my ginger head, I'm talking to Harry. - He said.
Lily ignored James, and she bent down to kiss Harry's forehead, and to hug him for the last time.
-Have fun at Hogwarts, sweetie. - She whispered.
-Thank you, mum. - Harry said. He made his way to the train, and he waved to James and Lily once he got on it. They waved to him back, and waited until the train was gone.
-They grow so fast. - They heard a familiar voice behind them.
-Sirius?!- Lily shouted.
-For Merlin's beard, Sirius! What part of "you're staying here" don't you understand?! -James asked.
-I wouldn't let my son - I mean - god-son, to leave without letting me see him for the last time. Now, can we please go? I'm tearing up a bit, and I forgot to put tissues in my handbag.
