October 11, in the year of 8845, Reminis Calendar (RC)

The hooded man which they saw in the snow camp site with the Earth Wanderers advanced forward. He cast a look at Roxy and smirked at her pale complexion.

"You!" Elli's alertness resumed and she grabbed the hilt of her sword.

"Why, Elli, I thought you would be happy to see me." The man lowered his hood.

"Father! How-how is this—"

"I am not your father, biologically. The one in the coffin is." He walked towards the completely baffled Elli and Marko. "Remember the wristbands? Now, both of you, put your tattooed arms on the moulds by the feet of the coffin, and all questions will be answered."

"What are those wristbands supposed to do?" asked Elli; her fist rounded more on the hilt.

"They are my surveillance system to know what you've been through so that I can send aid immediately. At the same time, they serve as the keys to open the door of this coffin."

The man held onto Elli's hand and led her to where the golden moulds were. The twosome heeded his words as if they had been hypnotised, and once their wrists made contact with the moulds, the ground shook. The coffin broke into two, creating a space big enough for three persons to walk in.

"After you." The man gestured Elli and Marko. The rest of the group wanted to follow but the hooded man said, "The king only want some quick words with his descendant, please wait patiently." With that, the door closed.

Elli couldn't believe what she had just seen. They walked on a white carpet that never seemed to get dirty. At the edge of the carpet, a stone stairs appeared and it led to a garden. A white coffee table was placed before a pond; on it were all shapes of goblets. They walked down the stairs and came face to face with a feminine figure with blond hair. She was clad in white woollen robes and she wore no shoes. Her left hand was cupping a golden flower, and her right hand was holding a water pail. When she heard the new footsteps, she rose and waved at Elli.

"Elli, my princess. We're so gladful you make it," the woman said.

"Mother? Mother!" Elli ran towards her mother but when she tried to hug her, all she got was a wisp of golden dust in her empty embrace. "What's happening? Why are you here? I thought humans have their own Underworld. Where am I?"

Her mother didn't speak. She gestured to her right, and a man with long caramel hair appeared from the rose bushes.

"You've never changed, girl, always so many questions," the man said.

"You are the god father that gave me my name," Elli voiced out with opened jaw. She knew she sounded and looked stupid. Marko had also lost his usual smirk, and was now staring at the figures before him, slack-jawed.

"Your god father? Elli, he is your father, King Eremiel," the hooded man said.

"Halford, she needs time to digest all the facts." King Eremiel knelt before Elli. "I know it's hard for you to accept what you hear now, but we've to let you know as well. Elli, my daughter, you are a Lucifer, the last heir of the house."

"No, no, no way. You've got to be kidding me." Elli ran her fingers through her brown hair. "If I am a Lucifer, why never have I felt strong before?"

"I've spent ten years shielding your power, Elli," said her mother, while stroking her hair. "There were too many mutated Vampists out there, which we failed to thrust under Mount Tampas. We were afraid they might know about the Blue Portal one day and come look for you. Your father had asked Halford and me to stay in the human world. You were only a month old when the Vampists raided Reminis. And your father's prediction was right, they had somehow found out about the Blue Portal."
