Amy's POV***

I find it funny. Just how everything works out perfectly with Leeroy. He makes me happy and I make him happy. Sitting here in Algebra 2, holding his hand. I tried so hard at my old school to be 'Little Miss Perfect.' But now I don't care. It feels good to actually be myself for once.

Sometimes I wonder what other people are thinking about us, but then I remember that we are happy and I wouldn't care anyways. Everything just feels so right.

Leeroy's POV***

I am happy, but at the same time, I'm sad. I brought Amy down. I can tell she wanted the popular life, and I am pretty sure I'm not helping any. She says she is happy as all get out, but her face says another, or is she just tired from all the crap today? I hope she's just tired.

***2 class periods later***

Leeroy's POV***

Amy and I are walking out of the school and she slips me a smalls piece of paper. It has a phone number on it. I put it in my phone and text it. The next thing I know, there is a tone coming from her pocket. She smiled slightly.

Amy's POV***

As we walk, Leeroy and I end up going in separate directions. He lives on one side of the block and I live on the other.

I get to my house and before I even open the door, I can hear screaming. Too afraid to open the door, I sneak over to the window and peak in to see what is going on.

Mom and Dad are screaming at each other about who knows what. I heard my name somewhere in their screaming.

Out of my dad's mouth I hear a few words. "... should have ...... ... .... Abortion .... . Told ... To!"

Then I heard my mother loud and clear, "I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE DAMN ABORTION, BUT I COULDN'T BECAUSE OF MY RELIGION AND MY PARENTS!"

Realization just struck me. I am a junior in high school, and I just found out that my parents don't even want me.

I picked up my bag that I dropped while listening to the conversation and took off running. I ran as far as my legs could take me. I see a sign as I run. I stop running and look at the side with the writing on it.

Wolverhampton - 25 miles

I seriously ran 25 miles? It felt like 2.

I was so confused and had no clue what to do.

I took out my phone and I still hadn't looked at the message Leeroy sent me after school. I opened it and it said,

To: Amy

From: Leeroy

Hey beautiful. I will always be here for you. <3

I smiled then called him.

"Hey beautiful. Whatcha need"

"..."

"Amy?"

"..."

"Amy?!?"

"Leeroy." It came out in a whisper of tears.

"Amy. What's the matter?"

"Can you come pick me up?"

"Sure. Where are you?"

"25 miles outside of Wolverhampton."

"Uh okay? Which direction?"

"East."

"Alright. I'll be right there, beautiful. I love you." I do love her.. Even though we met today.

"Love you too, Leeroy."

Then I hang up.

Leeroy's POV***

She said she loved me too.

Why was she 25 miles out of town?

Is she okay?

Did someone hurt her?

Did someone bully her?

I swear, if anybody did anything to my angel, I would sick my older brother, Liam, on them.

Liam is a senior, who is one of the populars, but he still protects me.

I have been driving for about 15 minutes and I start to see something along side the road. It's her. My beautiful angel.

I pull over, get out of my car, and walk to her.

"Amy. What happened?"

She doesn't say anything. She just reaches out for a hug and I accept. I know something bad happened when she broke into tears in my embrace. All I could do was hug her and brush through her hair while she cried.

Eventually she went slightly weak, so I picked her up bridal style. Her beautiful eyes staring up at me.

I walked over to the passenger door of my car and opened the door. I sat her on the seat. I could tell she had been crying earlier because of her extremely puffy eyes.

I brushed a few fallen hairs out of her face, wiped the fresh tears away, and gently kissed her lips. She was so cold. What had happened?

"Come on. Let's take you home."

She grabbed my hand as I started to walk away.

"Don't take me home, Leeroy. Please don't."

Her eyes were desperate to stay away from home. I nodded, got in the driver's seat, took her hand, and drove back towards Wolverhamton.
