Browtown was dead to the world as the entire family slept. They didn't realize that someone else was in the camp. The man was checking out the area around the town. He didn't think before he stepped in the mud with his boots. He was leaving tracks like an animal.

Chris POV

Next step in my plan was to destroy the garden and leave a dead chicken on their doorsteps. I took a shovel to bring up all of their vegetables. I made sure each plant was taken out of the ground. I cut the throat of the last chicken as Billy stepped outside of the main house. I waited until he was finished and set it on his doorstep.

Billy POV

I take a quick look to check on the town. I don't see anything out of the ordinary. I walked back into the house as the sun was coming up.

Bear POV

I see the sun coming in our window. I see that Ana is still asleep and I pick her up to take her to the main house. I open the door to see a chicken dead on my front step. I bring out my shotgun to make sure he wasn't still here. I walk to the main house to find another dead chicken on the front step. "I noticed a dead chicken on both of our front steps." "I thought I heard someone last night but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary." "I'm staying in here with Ana until everyone wakes up." Dad starts cooking breakfast as we wait on everyone else.

Isabella POV

I wake up to the sun getting in my eyes. I look beside me as I see mommy and daddy are still asleep. I walk past my daddy in the rocking chair. I open the door quietly. I walk down the porch and step on something. I look down to see a dead chicken. I start to scream but someone grabs me from behind. "What did I tell you about walking around on your own?" It was only daddy.

Matt POV

I wake up to see Isabella is not in bed. I turn my head to see the door was wide open. I grab my gun to see if I could find her. I see her walking down the steps as I grab her. We sit there hugging for a moment until I see something on my doorstep. "Go back to bed with mommy. I will take care of this." She went back inside. I pick up the chicken to see that it's throat was cut. I take the chicken and put it beside the house to make sure neither of the kids could see it. I can see one at each house; it had a chicken dead on each doorstep. Chris was trying to leave us a message.

Each family found the dead chicken on each doorstep, but Bam and Eleanor's place also had a note.

Bam POV

I found the dead chicken on my front step with a message attached saying "I'm getting closer." He was right outside our door. He could have been looking through the windows. He was coming into camp at night. He had watched me last night with Eleanor.

The family decided that someone needed to stand watch outside by the fire. Bam would stay with Eleanor at all times. Chris was after her and nothing was getting in his way.

Rainy POV

Mom had wanted me to go picking in the garden with her. Snowbird went with us to keep us protected. The entire garden was destroyed. Mom was devastated on what had happen to the town's garden. We had put so much time and effect into it. She started tearing up. "I just don't understand it." We go back into town to tell dad about the garden.

Eleanor POV

Chris was trying to take me away from this wonderful family. The only thing I could do to stop this monster is to give myself up. The last time I was in town, I had gotten a few pregnancy test for many of the girls. Grace, Snowbird, and I hadn't been feeling well lately. All three of the girls were pregnant and due around the same time. I didn't want anything else to happen to this beautiful family. I would just give Chris what he wanted: Me. I left Bam a letter telling him everything. As night approached Bam says "I want to make love to you." "We do that every night." I didn't have time to give an answer as he was kissing my neck. "Bam, there is something I need to tell you." "What could be more important than me taking care of my wife." "I'm......" I never finished my sentence as he touched my sensitive spot with his fingers. I didn't realize he had taken my panties off as I was under him. Given into his every touch. My gown was off next. He dove for my right breast as I arched my back. He took his time with each nipple. I whimpered at the changed of position. His face was directly in front of my chest as he kissed me all over. We both came at the same time. He turned to lay on his back as he was still inside of me. I was laying on his chest as we regained our composer. I leaned up to move my hips against his. I moved up n down on him as I could see he was enjoying himself. His eyes were closed as moved over him. I came a third time and rode it out a few more seconds as I climbed off of him. He covered both of us with the covers as I laid my head on his chest. "I love you." "I love you too." After sex, he tries to stay awake but he can't. After I know he is asleep, I get out of bed to get dressed. I leave the letter under his glasses as I make my way outside. I go into the woods and walk for a while until someone covers my month to say "You are mine." I knew it was him as we continued to walk up the mountain to a cave that had all of his belongings. He threw me down as he beat me the hardest he had ever before. All I could think about was Bam and his family was finally safe.
