-Rick's POV-
Carl, Michonne and I are sitting by a campfire in the woods. We discuss how hungry we are, then go to check a snare in the woods and find a small rabbit. I explain to Carl how the trap works; We hear a man screaming for help. Carl sprints off toward the sound with Michonne and I following. We find a man in a clearing surrounded by a herd of walkers Carl raises his gun to fire at the herd before being stopped by me, I realize there are too many walkers and our ammo is more precious than the stranger's life. We watch as the man is overcome and consumed before the walkers begin coming after us. We grab their gear and abandon our camp, returning to the train tracks toward Terminus. That night, Michonne and I talk about Terminus while Carl sleeps in a nearby car. When a group ambushes us, the leader holds me at gunpoint, and the other men point weapons at Michonne. The leader explains this is payback for what I did back at the house to their friend. One of the men drags Carl out of the car and pushes him on the ground. The leader begins a countdown to shooting me in the head but is interrupted by the arrival of Daryl. Daryl declares Michonne, Carl and I are good people and offers to take the punishment for them. The leader claims Daryl a liar and orders the others to beat him to death. I try to argue that they should leave Daryl alone. The enraged leader declares that they are now going to "have" Carl and then Michonne, then kill them in front of me before killing him last before they are even. Carl reaches for his knife, to protect himself from the guy that had him, but with no success. I can't stand hearing Carl yelling and crying, so I manage to knock the leader's gun away from his head by headbutting the leader, but it goes off, temporarily deafening me. The leader grabs me in a bear-hug, pinning my arms, causing me to bite the leader's neck and tear out his jugular vein. In the confusion, Daryl and Michonne overpower the other men and kill them. I approach the last man who begs for mercy, but I then take a knife and brutally slaughter the man. Michonne holds Carl, who has a large scrape on his face.
"I'm sorry for what has happened." Daryl tells me, "Beth and I were together but we got separated."
"Did she die?" I ask.
"She is 'gone.' Did Ana not escape with you?" Daryl looks at me with pleading eyes hoping for good news.
"We're family and I forgive you." I pause before answering his question, "We couldn't find her at the prison. But if she did, she's strong and she'll be okay. She learned to be even stronger than she was before she got to us from you, Daryl. She'll be fine." I tell him, hoping that she was okay. We prepare to finish the trip to Terminus. Before reaching it, we circle around behind it and split up to observe the area before going in. I bury most of our weapons in the woods, and we proceed to climb the fences and enter Terminus from the rear. Inside, men greet us who check our weapons but return them. One of the men, takes us outside to get food from a woman. I look around and notice that a man has Hershel's watch, that was given to Glenn; while others have items belonging to my group: Daryl's poncho, Maggie had been wearing; the orange duffel bag I had taken from a hitchhiker and Glenn's riot gear. I slap a plate of meat out of the man who has Hershel's watch's hand and take him hostage, demanding to know where he got the watch. The man who lead us outside, starts talking to me but gives a signal for an attack on the group. I use the man I had hostage as a shield who is killed and a shootout results, forcing us to run for cover. As we run through the complex avoiding the gunfire, passing by a fenced space with human remains lying in pieces under the sun, and by railroad car shipping containers from which bangs and cries for help are coming out, We realize that the shooters are not shooting to kill but are instead aiming at our feet, and we are being herded. We are finally pinned down by snipers and forced to surrender. The male leader of the group, orders us to drop our weapons and one-by-one to enter a train car parked nearby. Inside, We are reunited with Glenn, Maggie, Bob, and Sasha and meet Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, and Tara.
"They're gonna feel pretty stupid when they find out. They're screwing with the wrong people." I say.
