As winter comes to an end, spring rolls in, bringing flower buds and humid weather. Spring, being known as the season of love, has lived up to its name. Today is the wedding of Meta Knight and Ybrik.

For those of you who don't know, Ybrik is the mirror image of Kirby. Kirby is male, while Ybrik is female. In a series of incidents, Ybrik switched places with Kirby, making him no longer reside in our world. My cousin Sierra was behind it all. Sierra has magic powers, and because of those magical properties, she was able to help save a universe. Or at least that's how she tells the story.

-----

I look over at Sierra, who is dressed in fancier-than-usual attire. "Is it supposed to take this long for the bride to arrive?" I ask quietly to my cousin, a slight hint of impatience in my voice. Aidan, who is Sierra's younger brother, looks over at her, apparently wondering the same thing.

"Shush it, we're in the front row, the groom will hear you," she pokes my cheek. Almost immediately after, the piano begins to play. She shoots me a 'you couldn't have waited another minute?' look as familiar ceremony tunes echo throughout the chapel.

After what seemed like another eternity of the priest reading wedding vows, he finally askes the main questions:

"Do you, Meta Knight, take Ybrik to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do," says Meta Knight, his eyes shimmering a rare shade of pink through his metal mask.

"And do you, Ybrik, take Meta Knight to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do," she responds back, her cheeks streaming with tears of joy.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife; you may now kiss your bride!" Ybrik and Meta Knight give eachother a loving, passionate kiss as the cliché wedding music starts up again. Shortly after, they walk down the aisle as a newly wedded couple.

Aidan looks over to me, "time for food, cake, and dancing!" I smile and nod in response as Sierra gives us both a thumbs up.

All four of us (the fourth being Sierra's boyfriend Kyle, who is a Gengar from the Pokemon universe), file into the royal dining hall along with the other brawlers.

"More people here than I expected," mumbles Kyle, who is fixing his red bowtie out of habit.

Sierra looks over at him responds, "well, this is the first wedding since I began ruling over the Smash Bros universe, so its a pretty big deal. Not to mention that anyone was allowed to come."

Kyle shrugs.

After getting in line and waiting a few minutes for our food, Kyle perks up suddenly and says, "Sierra don't forget..." and then points at me. I squint my eyes a bit as I wait for him to continue his sentence, but as usual, Kyle says no more.

"What are you guys planning to do with me?" I shift back a few feet (although being cautious to not back into anyone else who may be in line) and playfully put my arms up in a defensive pose.

Sierra, with a sly twinkle in her eyes, waves her hand as if to say 'its no big deal.' "We'll get to that later, there's nothing to worry about. You'll thank me later I'm sure." I laugh and roll my eyes. We all pick up a plate and begin to choose our food for the wedding banquet.

-----

"Did you enjoy your dinner, Mallory?" Aidan asks gleefully in his high pitched voice.

I pat his head and stroke his hair, an old "tradition" of mine to do to him, "it was very good thanks, how about yours?"

"Eh, it was mediocre... Just kidding, it was amazing! Food here in Smashville is perfection!" He continues to smile.

My cousin Aidan is such a giddy young man, always smiling and positive. He's about 3 years younger than me, but we're still very close. Not to mention that that 13 year old surely knows how to be a joker; he's always making funny noises, or shooting humorous jokes at us. He's constantly making up nicknames or using a quirk of his. Both of my cousins have a funny way of talking; they are very articulate and put emphasis on certain words.
