Charlie's POV
"Ready to go!" I yelled from my room and started to run down the stairs. In the living room Michal was waiting for me. He smiled once I reached him and we headed out.
We got into my car, being that I know the town better than him, and we headed off to the movie theater. Once we arrived, I parked the car and we walked to the line for tickets.
"What do you want to watch?" Michal asked me and we observed the movie posters that were lined up on the wall.
"I don't know. Something with a lot of action?" I asked, unsure. Michal nodded and he finally pointed to one.
"How about that one?" He asked me. I looked over and saw the title, The Huntsman: Winter's War.
"Sure." I agreed. Once we made it to the front of the line, Michal ordered and payed for our tickets. I tried to protest, but he waved me away.
"I got this. I invited you, so I'm paying. It's no biggie." He assured me. I nodded and took my ticket. When we went in, we got in line to get snacks. When we joined the line, we heard a familiar voice ahead of us.
"Michal?" We looked over to the voice, and we were surprised to Taylor and next to her was Collin. They were walking away from the snack bar, in hand was a large popcorn and two soft drinks. Michal and Taylor started to talk as two siblings would and they waited outside of the line with us to get our own snacks. Since Collin and I were standing there together, we started to talk.
"Hey there." I started off. It has been so long since we had last talked. It seemed to be even a little awkward to start off. He gave me a small smiled and said hello back.
So, um." I began, trying to come up with what to say. Collin, just as silent as me, cleared his throat to say something.
"How's it going?" He blurted out. We stood there awkwardly, I tried to think of what to say, but went with a shrug.
"Great, I guess. Nearly finished the rest of my projects." I informed him. He grinned and nodded.
"I heard your name on the announcements the other day. Congrats at the meet." He said. I looked back to him and smiled.
"Thanks." I said shortly. Again, we lapsed back into silence.
"So, are-"
"What ar-" We started to speak at the same time. We laughed it off and then he nodded for me to continue what ever I was saying.
But, before I could started, to talk to him again Michal called to me. "Hey, we're next up." We quickly walked up to the counter to buy our snacks. To get Michal back for paying for our tickets, I payed for all of our snack.
I got a large Blue Raspberry Icee, small popcorn and those watermelon candies. Michal on the other hand, got a large soda a popcorn and some Skittles.
We finally retrieved all our snacks and met back up with Taylor and Collin.
"So, what movie are you guys watching?" I asked the pair. Taylor showed us her ticket.
"We are seeing the Huntsman movie." She told us. Michal nodded and said that we were, too.
So, we enter the theater together and found some nice center seats towards the back, to have a good view. We sat in the order of: Michal, me, Collin, and then Taylor. Collin and Taylor talked among themselves, leaving Michal and I to talk by ourselves.
"So, I guess your sister was going out with Collin then." I commented and Michal laughed.
"Do you think we crashed their date?" He asked me. I shrugged and peeked over at them. They seemed to be doing just fine together.
"Well, I mean, they are the ones who invited us to sit with them." I said.
Michal nodded."True."
And soon after that, the lights dimmed and we all shut up to watch the movie.

After the movie ended, we all walked out the theater together, talking excitedly about the movie. Once we made it out the doors we all stopped to figure out what we were all doing.
"So, I guess I'll drive you home then?" Collin asked Taylor. She nodded and they said their goodbyes to us. Now that it was just me and Michal, we decided to head into town to get a late night snack.
"Didn't we just eat so much in there?" Michal questioned me, amused. I shrugged and flashed him a wide smile.
"Hey, a girls got to eat." I said and we continue.
"Wait, shouldn't we take the car?" He asked me. I shook my head and pointed to the corner.
"Town starts right around the corner, so it's not a far walk." I explained to him and we continued along.
Once we got into town, we walked to Cafe Midnight. Inside, I was not surprised to see that some kind of karaoke night was going on. Some tone deaf girl was on the small platform at the moment. The people closest to the stage tried to cheer for her supportively, but I could see them flinch every time she tried to reach a note out of her very small range.
Michal and I went up to the counter and ordered our "small" snacks. I got myself a S'more Crepe and a some kind of French Vanilla drink. Michal got himself a slice of cake and hot chocolate. We took or food and sat at a booth by the window."So, that was odd." Michal commented after taking a bite of his cake. I gave him a questioning look and he explained further. "Seeing Collin and my sister out on a date together."
I shrugged. "I mean, they have been hanging out together lately." I said.
"Yeah, but I didn't know that their feelings went that far." He said. "Who do think asked out who?"
I shrugged again. "I don't know. I haven't really been hanging out with Collin that much, so I wouldn't know about him." I said, trying to think if he had ever shown signs of liking her.
"Well, I think my sister has said a few things about him. And she is pretty straight forward, maybe se asked him out." He said, piecing it together. I nodded and went back to eating. After a while of listening to another girl singing, much better than the last girl, I spoke up.
"So, what are you doing next Friday?" I asked him. He thought for a moment before shrugging.
"Nothing, why?" He asked me.
"Well, at the end of each year, the whole year of us do a big old party. Do you want to come with me?" I asked him.
"Sure." He agreed and we continued with our snacks and watching the karaoke night go on.
