Moments like this didn't happen often. Both Of them had crazy lives. There were some days were they didn't see each other at all. But it was moments like this, moments that were shared between them that made the world seem a little brighter.

It was nice, Babs though, even if it wasn't "them."

She knew that this extreamly fancy, extreamly expensive restaurant is perfectly population with paparazzi. She also knew that the next morning there woukd be gossip stories about Dick flirting with a waitress or Barbra being pregnant.

None of them would be true, but that didn't matter.

But Barbara did like some parts about this night. How Dick scanned the menu for a semi-normal food. How the differnt smells of exotic spices filled her nose. How the soft clinking of glasses could be heard. That part was nice.

What wasn't nice was Dick's need to impress her. Even after years of knowing her better than any other human (or alien) on planet earth, he still did stuff like this. He knew how overjoyed she would be with a box of pizza and a moive. That was so much less stress than trying to look like a goddess for this restrant.

But still, the though was more than nice.

Dick beatiful blue eyes looked at Barbara in a way only they could. It was a sepical way that made her heart skip a beat like she was a 12 year old school girl.

Sometimes Barbara wondered why Dick would do things like this. Go over the top for no reason. The reason was so simple she didn't know why it didn't cross her mind. He was always trying to impress her. Outdo what he has done before.

Dick gently grabbed Barbara's hand from arcross the table. They smiled at each other in a way that could only be love.

Maybe this wasn't lounging on the couch with a box of pizza, but the sounds and the smells and Dick's smile made this them. It didn't matter where they were, as long as it was them. Dick and Babs. It was the little moments like this, that made all the difference.

Barbara was glad to have her memory at times like these. So she could come back to this moment forever.
