Chapter Twelve.

Sirius' P.O.V

"Are you going to get Abby?" Remus looked at me with a nod "yes Sirius, but it's half seven she may not be awake yet" I groan "just go see, I have so much to learn about her, she never met me" Remus nods "fine" he apparated.

Abigail's P.O.V

Groaning I woke up, I was going to see Sirius today, wherever he is staying. Throwing on some clothes I pull my hair half up and leave the rest down before going downstairs "Mum have you see my combat boots?" I walk towards the kitchen and stub my toe "Fuck!" Gripping my foot I hop on the spot "language Abby! And there under the chair in the living room" I groan "I stubbed my toe!"

As the pain wore off I walked into the living room and slipped my boots on before going back into the kitchen "pancakes and banana, your favourite" I smile and kiss her cheek before sitting down and digging in.

A crack sounded in the living room and I looked up from my plate "oh Remus, is he really in that much of a rush to meet Abby properly?" He enters the kitchen with a nod "oh yes, he is very eager..he's been trying to get me to come here since five am" I shake my head "I wouldn't have been awake" Mum nods.

"Yes and nobody wakes Abby up unless you want a black eye or some over form of bodily injury" adds Fred as he sits beside me "that's very true" adds George "I remember waking her up at half six last summer and well I got a swift kick to the nuts"

All the men in the room groan "yep that's lil ol' me" I finish my breakfast off and wipe my mouth "that was lovely Mum!" I quickly down my coffee and get up, putting my bag around my shoulder I look to Remus "so are we going?" He nods and holds his arm out to me "hold on, we're going to apparate" I nod and take his arm and with a crack we had gone.

Apparating wasn't pleasant, it felt like I was being sucked through a tube and then we landed in a cave "any sickness?" I shake my head "Nope." Remus frowned "is that you're first time apparating?" I shook my head "nope, now we're is Sirius?" Remus nods to a wall and I walk towards it "uh it's a wall?" He nods and presses his hand to it and it goes straight through.

"Oh it's like the platform" he nods and I walk through "that feels strange" I giggle.

Pulling my bag close to my side I begin to walk, when I see Buckbeak "Buckbeak!" I put my hand out and he nudges it, so I begin to stroke him "I'm so glad those mean people didn't kill you" I let go when I hear footsteps. Suddenly I was anxious.

"What if he doesn't like me?" I look at Remus "he will, you're a brilliant girl and your like your mother" I nod and turn when I hear a cough "Abigail?" I smile "that's me" he chuckles.

"So um what do we talk about?" He shrugs "everything, I've missed you whole life" I nod and follow him, the cave was pretty homey.

Sitting down with him Remus leaves to give us space "so how's life with The Weasley's?" I smile "well loud, hectic, fun and enjoyable, there brilliant people" Sirius nods "so tell me about your self Abigail?" I smile.

"What do you want to know?" He smiles "everything" I nod "Hmm I play on the Quidditch team, I'm in Gryffindoor, I read a lot of books, I listen to The Weird Sisters, Neville Longbottom fancies me, Professor Snape is my godfather, I excel in Potions and aim to be a Potions Mistress one day...I'm very much like a Tomboy, I don't wear a lot of girly clothes" he nods "I wouldn't expect you too, since you've been raised around boys most of your life" I nod.

"Now what are these in your hair?" I giggle "Dreadlocks, Bill and Charlie did them for me" he smiles "I'm glad you've had a good life for most part" I nod "I'm thankful"

"So do you have any pictures of my dad?" Sirius nods "I do have one...but he was about seventeen in it" I nod and watch as he gets up and digs through a case, finally he came back over and handed me it.

"He was very handsome" I smile and Sirius nods "he was, we all used to say that's how he got your mum" I nod "I wonder if there is any pictures of them both around" He nods "I think there's one at my mothers house." I smile. Studying the picture my dad was handsome, he had shoulder length brown hair, dark brown eyes, bushy black eyebrows, a mushtash and freckles.

Remus came back through "Sirius, it's time I took Abby back to her family" he nods and we both stand up.

"You will come back won't you?" I nod "of course, you need to tell me about yourself" he smiles and I hug him, I could tell he wasn't expecting it, but he still hugged back "when my name is cleared, everything will be better...perhaps you could live with me when it is?" I smile "i'll definitely think about it" he smiles and Remus takes me back to where we came in.

"Ready to apparate again?" I nod and take his arm, with a crack we were gone from the cave and back at The Burrow.

Going inside Molly hugs me tightly "you're okay, no cuts, no bruises?" I chuckle "I'm fine mum, all we did was talk, he gave me a picture of my dad too." Molly smiles "Now I have a picture of my dad from Sirius and a picture of my mum from Professor Snape."

She nods and I put the picture back into my bag "thank you for bringing her back safely Remus" he nods "as always, no harm would ever come to Abby" I smile and thank him.

"Now supper is on the table, I'm just going to see Remus out" I nod and as I skip off I notice mum grab two boxes full of food, smiling I sit down next to Fred "Hi Fred!" He chuckles "Hello Abby?"

I put a sprinkle of salt on my mashed potatoes before I began eating "so Abby how was it talking with Sirius?" I finish my mouthful "it was fun, he was very upset that he had missed the key points of my life, but he listened to everything I had to say and well I can't wait to see him again!" Arthur nods and I finish up my supper.

"I'm gonna shower and then go straight to bed, Apparating sure does take the energy from you" the family nods and I jog upstairs.

Grabbing my towels, I placed the two photos on my desk and then went into the bathroom "ABBY DONT YOU KNOW HOW TO KNOCK BLOODY HELL!" Clamping my hands over my eyes I back out "Sorry Ron! there is a fucking lock on that door now hurry up!" Merlins beard, I'm going to be scared for life!

Ron soon left the bathroom and gave me a sheepish smile before I went inside, putting the shower on the highest heat I climbed in after stripping off and taking my bobble out of my hair, I did my usual shower routine before climbing out and wrapping my hair and body into fluffy red towels.

Upon entering my room, I noticed an envelope on my bed, shutting the door and sitting down, it said 'To My Dear Abigail, Open on your 16th Birthday'

I wonder who that's from, I'm not 16 until next month, bit early for cards and such.

Popping the envelope into my beside drawer, I dried off and slipped into some shorts and a vest, climbing under the covers, I used the light coming from my lamp to see the photos of my Mum and Dad.

They looked like the type of people who would have hated each other, when in reality they truly loved each other, I hope one day I can fall in love like that someday. Holding the photos to my chest I slowly drifted off to sleep.
