Chapter Twenty-One.

Fred's P.O.V

It's been a week since the Yule ball and the second task is today, Abby has gotten seriously better since the whole poisoning incident and she's been back in lessons for a few days.

She's very excited to see the task go ahead and then we've been allowed a week break to go home and see our families.

"Fred hurry up! We're going to be late!!" I chuckled and pulled my boots on "I'm coming!" Taking Abby's hand we left the common room and began our walk to the boats to get us to the stands on the black lake.

She swung our hands as we walked "I wonder where Ron and Hermione are, I haven't seen them since supper yesterday" I nodded "that's true, they'll miss Harry in the task"

"I may have underestimated how cold it is out here" Abby shivered "I should have brought my hat"

"You mean this one!" She screamed as it was pulled on her head and down past her eyes "Minnie you absolute asshole" she pulled it up and set it properly.

Climbing into a boat, Me, Abby, Minnie and George travelled across the lake to the stands.

Abby's P.O.V

"Fredddddd" he looked at me and smiled "Yes baby?" He wrapped his arms around me and we looked at the still water, it had been like that since about ten minutes after the contestants  had dived in "you think Harry will be okay?" He nodded "of course, he's a champ" I nod and continue watching the water.

Cedric came up first, holding Cho "hidden treasures? That means Ron and Hermione..?" Fred nods and continued to watch the water with me, Viktor came up second holding Hermione and the clock ticked by.

No sign of Fleur and no sign of Harry.

"Fred the hour is nearly up? Fluer's back but where is Harry?" He shrugged and looked as concerned as I did "is that him?" Two heads popped it, it was Ron and Fleurs little sister.

After the hour Harry popped up covered in cuts and stings, turns out the grindylows got him.

Standing beside him? He was announced second place for saving not only Ron but Gabrielle.

We were soon on our way back to the castle, hot chocolate and warm blankets were in order infront of the fireplace in the common room.

Currently I was being carried like a baby by Fred because I was too cold, I've always had a problem regulating my temperature, so Fred's body temperature was keeping me warm.

"You sure you're warm enough darling?" I nod and kept my head against his chest. We soon entered the castle and I got down, professor Snape handed us blankets "thanks" I wrapped it around myself twice "Ab- Miss Black I need to speak with you later" I nod "I'm gonna go get some hot chocolate and I'll come down to you're office Sir" Snape nodded and we went up to the common room.

"Jesus there better be mini marshmallows in my hot chocolate" George laughs and we walk inside "hey Abby I saved you the last cup with marshmallows" shouted Hermione, grinning I took the cup and said goodbyes to everyone as I went down to the dungeons to see what was wrong with Severus.

Knocking on his door if opened and I walked inside and it shut behind me "Abby are you okay?"I sit on the desk opposite his and cross my legs "why wouldn't I be?" I sip the drink and watch his movements "I saw the condition you were in when Mr Weasley carried you in"

I nod "oh that's my temperature problem, I can't regulate my body heat, I'm fine now since I have a blanket and a hot drink" Severus smiled and stood up "Dumbledore has asked me to give you Occulemency and Legilimency lesson" I nod "too keep Voldemort out if and when he returns?"

He nods "Dumbledore said it would be better to teach you before his return so that you can keep that mind barrier up at all times" nodding I finish my hot chocolate and put the cup down "I personally think you'll get it within the first few weeks"

He pulled me into a hug and I hugged him back "I've missed these Sev hugs" he smiled down at me and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Too say you've never had kids of you're own Severus, you do a pretty neat job of looking after me" he laughs "I do, don't I?" I nod and hop down "is that all, because not to be rude but I'm starving" he chuckled loudly and nodded "yes go and get food"

Leaving I ran up to the great hall, Fred and the others were sat there waiting for me "what did he have to say?" Whispered Fred as I sat down next to him "just asked if I was okay because of my blue lips and huddling so close to you earlier" I whispered back.

"Aw he has a parental side" I shove Fred playfully "don't be cruel"

"So has Dumbledore gave a hint what's on the menu today?" George grinned "warm foods" I smiled "does that mean soup, stews and hot puddings?" They nod and I fist pump the air "my favourites"

After a quick talk the foods came up and I began stuffing my face, up to now I had eaten a bowl of beef stew, a bowl of soup, a plate of chips and gravy and full glass of warm pumpkin juice.

"You're appetite seems to be getting bigger Abby?" Mumbled Fred concerned "no its fine, I'm just very hungry" he nodded and I continued to finish off my chocolate pudding.

Yawning Fred let me lean on him "tired?" I nod and yawn again "very tired"

He smiles and hugs me "wanna go to bed?" I nod and we get up "see you all probably tomorrow" they nod and we walk up to the common room.

"If you're appetite is the same tomorrow and it carries on you're getting checked out" i nod "fineee"

He walked through the portrait hole and we decided my room for tonight as I spend way to much time in his, it was starting to get suspicious.

So once inside he went to his dorm to get his pyjamas and I changed into mine, standing in front of the mirror, I rub my stomach, perhaps I was eating too much and putting on weight finally.

Pulling my shirt down I hopped into bed and waited for Fred, he came back and laid beside me "Fred am I getting fat?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Not that I can see?" He laughed and I slapped his shoulder "I'm being serious!" He shook his head "I swear you're not getting fat"

Nodding we laid back and drew the curtains around the bed before I slowly began to drift off into the world of sleep.
