Teddy Lupin adored Victoire Weasley. When Victoire went to Hogwarts, Teddy asked Harry if he could borrow the Marauder's Map. Harry told Teddy how he had watched Ginny while he was hunting horcruxes and felt alone.
So Teddy decided he would watch Victoire whenever he missed her most, hoping that she could feel his presence. She could feel him watching over her, and that's what made her feel confident.
