I Should Just Start a Diary . . .

Okay, guys. Hello again.

I think this will be the last page for this book. Unless something else happens. We'll see. I just had something uber important to share.

Don't worry. It's great news.

So, I've been going in to the hospital regularly for a while now, nearly five months, and they've been injecting me with a bajillion different chemicals to see what'll stop these blasted tumors. Well, they've succeeded. It won't shrink the nasties - I'm destined to die this way - but at least I've been given a bit more time. Ya'll are stuck with me for a while yet!

Life's been good so far. Life's good now. My dad just got a promotion with his work, and his medication seems to be working. We've just adopted a turtle and his name is Marie Antoinette (long story). Carson, my girlfriend, and I are attending the same college and are quite happy in our cozy flat. I'm going into music and she's planning to be an art teacher. My brother and his longtime boyfriend are now engaged, and their wedding is next winter. My dad is still dating my old math teacher from my Junior year. I think he's planning to propose soon. I visit my mom and sister nearly every Sunday and the three of us have a picnic. Sometimes Gabe joins us.

I turned 19 a few days ago.

That's an update on me. I think this'll be it unless something else happens. I'd love to hear about what's happening in your life, so feel free to leave a comment or two. Or not. I just thought that since so many of you wished me luck and promised to pray for me - thank you for that, by the way. That made me so happy - I figured I should share this small miracle with you.
