Two weeks nalang pasukan na.
Nakaraan na ang isang linggo nang mangyari yun.
"Bessie? Let's go?"
"Okay."
At tumungo na kami ni Nikki sa luob ng mall para mag shopping. Napauna uwi niyasa parents at lil bro niya. Kakarating niya lang kahapon kaya gusto niyang mag girls day out kami. Girls only. Matagal ngang promotesta si Luke.
"Bessie how does this look on me?"
"Great, but you look better on Nude."
"Xambria?!"
"Nude! Color!" At napatawa ako.
"Ohhhh! I thought you were green." She chuckled and rolled her eyes at binalik ang nakuha niya. And looked for a nude color.
Pumunta ako sa Tops at humanap ng magugustuhan ko. Andito kami ngayon ni Nikki sa favorite Fashion Boutique namin which is owned by her parents. Ito yung business nila. Popular yung Fashion Line na ito especially sa Paris.
Dalawang oras na kami nagkukulitan at pumipili ng mga damit dito. Hwaaa! I missed this girl! Sarap talaga kasama!
"Bess, I've got some news." Sambit ni Nikki nang nasa loob kami ng dressing room. Oo, sabay kami. Nagpagawa pa nga si Nikki ng exclusive na dressing room na kami lang dalawa ang makakagamit. Its bigger than all of the dressing rooms na andito.
"Yes bessie? Ano yun?" Sagot ko. At tumalikod para ipa zipper sa kanya ang dress na tinatry-on ko.
"Bessie ehh. Wag ka sanang magalit? Please?" At sinarado niya ang zipper.
"Spill." I said while fixing my hair. Still facing my back at her.
"Y-yung sa Paris.." She tied up the dress' ribbon.
Napatigil ako. At humarap sa kanya.
"A-and?" Wala sa sariling tanong ko sa kanya.
"W-well.. I passed!" She said trying to sound happy.
Ugh. This is the topic that I've been avoiding.
Hindi ako sumagot, I looked down.
"Hey.." She tried to catch my gaze but I just avoided it. "I'll visit naman eh.. This is it, Yseatte! I've been waiting for this for two years!"
Hindi parin ako sumagot. Eh sa ayokong umalis siya for Paris. She's going to Fashion School. I don't want her to leave. Wala na nga parents ko, si kuya, Cole's starting to get busy kasi his dad's going to train him sa pagpapatakbo ng kompanya nila. Si Luke naman, helping the management sa Hotels at resort nila kaya masasabi kong baka bihira na kaming magkita. At ngayon, bessie ko pa?
"Aren't you happy for me? Bessie?"
"I-I-I don't want you to leave me too." I want to cry. "But bessie ayoko maging hadlang sa pangarap mo. I know you've waited long for this but.. I-I can't be happy kung alam kong iiwan mo ako. Like everyone else--"
"Awee. Shshsh. Don't say that. Hindi kita iiwan! Ano ka ba! I love you kahit maldita ka! Bessie kita! Soulmate! I'll never leave you. I'm just chasing after my dreams. I'll call you everyday. Mag-sskype tayo, we'll text each other all the time! Bessie. I'll still be here kahit ilang metro ang layo natin.." And she hugged me.
Her comfortable hug made me cry harder. Ughh! I'll miss this girl! One of the greatest things about her is, she is a very sweet person. Lalo na sa pamilya niya at sakin.
"Bessie ha? don't cry na. I'm only a call away pag andun na ako, okay? Sige na. Let's eat na." At pinahiran niya mga luha ko at hinila na ako sa counter.
