Chapter 13

"I have a surprise for you," I told Elunar the next day. I was at their house, grateful that Tito Heraya had given me permission to visit her room.

According to Elunar, I was still the only one who knew about her pregnancy...

"What kind of surprise?" Her brow arched as I entered her room. She looked fresh, as though she had just washed her face.

"You'll see." I grinned and stepped closer. My hand brushed her belly, and I crouched down until I was level with it. Pressing my ear against her stomach, I let my palm rest there. "I want his name to be Lightning."

"His?" Elunar rolled her eyes at me. "Our child's going to be a girl. And her name will be Thunderess."

"Seriously?" I chuckled. "If it's a girl, Moon sounds better." I nodded emphatically as if convincing her.

"I don't like it. Let's go with Thunderess Moon," she suggested.

I sighed and shook my head. "Let's name her Crescent Moon."

She pouted. "Thunderess Crescent Moon."

"That's too long." My lips curved mischievously as I caught her hand and guided it between my thighs. "Like this length here. It's long too, right?"

Elunar's cheeks turned crimson. "Can you not? Control your lust, Thunder." She glared at me, but I only laughed.

"Anyway, I'll pick you up at six tonight. Wear something nice, okay?"

She nodded, then flopped down on the bed. "Where are we going? What's the surprise?"

"Patience, baby..." I leaned over her and kissed her lips. The sight of the angel beneath me made me instantly hard.

"It's poking my stomach! What if Thunderess feels it?"

"Lightning," I corrected.

"Thunderess Crescent Moon! That's our baby girl's name."

We stared at each other until the door swung open.

"Am I disturbing something?"

I scrambled off Elunar and flushed red when I saw Tito Heraya. He looked at me, then at his daughter, his expression sharp, accusatory.

"T—Tito..."

"Alright, Thunder. You may leave now." His voice was firm as he dismissed me, then turned to his daughter. "And you, young lady... you seem to be enjoying yourself with Thunder, aren't you?"

"Dad! There was nothing indecent going on!"

"Oh really? You mean there's no malice in seeing him on top of you while you're lying on your bed? Planning to make a baby already? Fine. Go ahead. And we'll name your son Hera."

"No!" Elunar and I shouted at the same time, then glanced at each other and burst into laughter.

I cleared my throat. "I'll be going now, Tito."

He gave me a nod.

Back at the old mansion, I called Mr. Saberrick, the owner of Algaya Airport—also my godfather. "Tito, I want to ask you a favor."

"Sure, anything for my godson," he answered warmly.

"Can I borrow one of your helicopters?"

"Of course. When?"

"Tonight, Tito," I said with a grin.

"Alright, I'll prepare it. You still know how to pilot one, right?"
