Chapter 1
I stormed out of the pool bar with a scowl etched into my face. The music still throbbed behind me, the girls still screamed, the alcohol still flowed, but none of it mattered anymore. I had lost the mood. My cock was supposed to be buried deep inside a willing body by now, but instead it was hanging heavy and unsatisfied. And all because of her.
Elunar Falacia.
The name burned in my skull like a curse I couldn't shake off.
By the time I reached the parking lot, Tornado's car was already gone. Two possibilities immediately crossed my mind. One, he had already dragged some poor girl out by her hair and was on his way to ruin her night in that sadistic way only he knew. Two, he simply left me behind, thinking my "hunt" with Elunar had gone well.
Fuck that woman. Fuck her arrogance. Did she not realize who I was?
I am Thunder Apolonio de Mayor. The most handsome man in this rotten province. The man every woman drops her panties for with just a wink. The man they fantasize about when they close their eyes at night. And yet, she had the audacity—the gall—to shove me aside like I was some common pest.
Her words replayed in my head.
Not my type. Fuckboy. Easy to get. Not interested.
Each insult was like a blade carving into my pride. No woman had ever talked to me like that. Ever. They begged. They moaned. They worshiped. Nobody denied me and walked away untouched.
Nobody.
I gripped the steering wheel of my car until my knuckles whitened and the leather groaned. If I didn't leave now, I'd walk back inside and drag her out in front of everyone. So I drove, the night swallowing the road as the neon lights of the pool bar shrank in my rearview mirror.
By the time I rolled into the ranch, the house was dark. Mama and Papa were asleep. The guards roamed quietly, flashlights in hand. One of them nodded at me.
"Sir Thunder, you're home early. Where's Sir Tornado?"
I shrugged, forcing a smirk. "Not back yet?"
The guard shook his head.
Of course not. My brother was somewhere bruising another woman's thighs while I came home with nothing but a raging cock and a bruised ego. The guard didn't need to know that. I left him behind and pushed through the heavy doors of our mansion.
The silence inside pressed down on me. I climbed the stairs and entered my room. The familiar scent of polished wood and expensive sheets did nothing to ease the storm inside me. I stripped and stepped under the shower, cranking the heat until steam clouded the mirror. Water cascaded down my shoulders, my chest, my abs, and still—still—I saw her face.
Elunar.
Her sharp tongue. Her eyes like green fire. The way her bikini clung to her skin. That curve of her breast, the bounce, the swell. My mind betrayed me. My hand slammed against the wall, droplets of water scattering like shards of glass.
"Fuck..."
I imagined her lips against mine, imagined ripping that black bikini off her body, imagined bending her until she broke. My cock stiffened painfully, throbbing at the mere thought of her legs wrapping around my waist.
But then I remembered her words. Her mockery. The way she dismissed me without a flinch.
The fire inside me twisted into something darker.
She thought she could resist me. She thought she could humiliate me. She thought she was untouchable.
She was wrong.
