The universe doesn't like me much, because i find myself asking the same question for over 30 minutes. What does he mean he's taking me home?
but i dont wanna go home.
"do you um.. do you know where i live?" i asked him and he nodded, not saying anything. he's taking me home. everything will go back to normal again. i'll be back in my school.. with my friends.. without him. again.
"why now?" i asked and he turned to me for a second. "what?" he asked and i sighed, running my hands through my hair. "i mean. you should have brought me home weeks ago. why now?" i asked and he stayed quiet for a moment.
"i realized that i should have realized that sooner." he said and we stayed quiet. The silence is killing me. I wanted to yell at him to stop and go back home, i wanted to grab his hand, hold it very tight and never let go, i wanted to grab his face and kiss him forever.
I dont know why.
I dont know why im feeling this way. I should be happy that im going home and i wont be with him anymore. But i dont wanna leave. I wanna be with him.
He stopped the car In front of my house and i looked up to him, biting my lips. "Will i ever see you again?" I asked, hoping to get an 'of course' answer but those words never left his mouth. My heart sank and my eyes filled up as i hear nothing.
Nothing.
He didnt say anything. "S-so thats it?" I stuttered a little, biting my lips harder to stop myself from releasing a sob. "Get out of the car. I have places to go." He said, not even glimpsing my way. He never even bothered looking at me.
Not even for a second. I looked away, tears falling down my face. I leaned forward and i kissed his forehead, grabbing the car knob and getting out of his car in tears. I wanted to scream come back, but my mouth was so dry, and my eyes are so red that i couldn't even stutter a damn word.
He drove off and suddenly, we were strangers again.
