Never A Forever

Finally,

I'm starting to embrace this crazy place, called home.

This gift of love,

Found only above,

Everything evil.

This gift of time,

Finally mine,

And I get why its so prescious,

Why we only have a certain amount.

There's way too many for me to count,

How many ways people take things for granted.

The way the winter winds,

Entertwine and wrap around your body.

The way summer heat,

Makes you feel languid,

As you soak up the sun.

How a guitar feels under your hands,

Or how listening to certain bands gives you energy.

The way words erupt thru your mouth,

And then you go pout as a little kid.

And to think that there's never a forever.
