Chapter 1

Ivory's POV

           Three months.

Three months will just be a short period of time before we all finally graduate. Finally have my diploma and medals. It will be such an achievement for me. Not only for me but for my whole family. I couldn't say more to my ever supportive family. Mom and Dad was always there whenever I experience difficulties in life.

And of course, my one and only best friend since freshman college at Seattle University, Briegel Cole. I call her Briegel when she's saying crazy stuffs and when I'm mad but when I'm not, I call her on her nickname. Beeze. She's my partner in crime, my shoulder to cry on, keeper of my silly little secrets. We share an apartment room near SU.

We have our backs at each other at all times. She's one of the most brainy lady I have known. As expected, she'll be graduating as a cum laude this coming graduation and I'm happy for her.

I don't have that tittle but my GPA's are near on Briegel's grades so, yeah, I also have pretty high grades.

          "What?!" Beeze blurted out.

I glances up at her reflection on the mirror. I continue to brush my long dirty blonde hair but it was just too thick that it almost looked like it was a broom. A little amount of my natural brown hair is also showing off, I should really dyed blonde those too.

Frustrated, I put my hair into a high messy bun and when I'm done, I nod at myself on the mirror.

Standing up, wearing my pale blue turtle neck top, denim shorts and a thick stockings, I pick up my bag and slipped into my black trucker shoes. Fudge, I feel that look like a freaking high school student.

I was interrupted by Beeze walking back and forth. Oh, that wouldn't help on her interview later. Yes, she's about to interview one of the most famous business man, Christian Grey. I've heard he's one of the benefactors of SU so he'll be attending at the graduation. I also heard that he's also one of the benefactor of WSU Vancouver. He's covering up three sectors of business. I know he has in technologies, agricultures and farming.

Farming? Makes me think he likes the idea of helping poor farmers. Sounds like a Philanthropist.

Maybe give some speech. Since Beeze will be the cum laude, our school is expecting her to get an one on one interview with Christian Grey.

I've seen her difficulties while trying to get an scheduled interview with him. She had even been rejected with the first schedules but finally, she get to have one now.

And yes, I'm driving her off.

"Let's go?" I mumble, slipping my phone into the pocket of my shorts.

She bit her lower lips and nod over the phone while looking at me. "Okay. I'll be there really quick. Bye."

She hangs her phone and heave a deep sigh. "What's with the sigh?" I asked.

"I can't go to the interview."

          "What?! W-Why?" I shouted.

I saw sadness on her eyes. Those hazel eyes are now dull. "I can't. Mom's been acting out and tried to cut her wrist with a blade. She's in a hospital right now and I have to get to her."

"But what about this interview? You've worked for this."

She sighs and lift her head up to face the ceiling, maybe thinking for a solution. Then all of a sudden, her head snapped back and then she takes my hands. "W-What?"
