"HE KISSED YOU?" Jese screamed in excitement. We were sitting in the park by her house which was filled with old people by the way. Many of them looked over at us displeased or irritated and we apologized. "He kissed you?!" She asked again, this time a little quieter. "Yeah." I replied, blushing at the memory. "Dude, this just confirmed his feelings for you. You like him too don't you?" She said raising one of her perfectly plucked eyebrows. "Mhm." I replied taking a sip of my coffee. For some reason after hanging out with Daniel so much, my love for coffee had grown exponentially. Probably because he smells like it. Just drinking a cup of coffee makes me feel I'm in his arms. "Hello?" Jese repeated waving her hand infront of my face. "You totally just spaced out while thinking about him didn't you?" She saying smirking. I blushed and took another sip.
We did what we usually did at Jese's place which was walk around. We once walked for an hour through a thunderstorm to get candy. Let's just say it's kinda boring over there. But at the same time it's peaceful and fun to go adventuring.
We decided we had enough of the outdoors and went inside to watch a movie. We picked Paranormal Activity 5 and made popcorn. During the movie Daniel kept messaging me saying he'd protect me if I got scared. I laughed at his attempt to be cute and went along with it. "I swear to god if you don't get off your phone I'm gonna kill you." Jese said annoyed by the constant dinging noise each message came with. "Sorryyyyyy." I said putting it down. After a few minutes we finally got immersed in the movie and the house went silent. The girl in movie walked up the stairs and into her daughters room, then turned the corner when- *ding!*
"OH MY GOD!!" Jese growled, grabbing my phone and turning it off and throwing it somewhere in the dark. I laughed and we continued watching. The movie got to another moment where tension began to build as the music got louder. We prepared ourselves for the jump scare when we heard a loud thud coming from upstairs. We jumped and looked at eachother and then the movie's jump scare happened right after scaring us again.
"What was that?" I asked grabbing the remote and pausing the movie. "I don't wanna know." Jese replied taking the remote from me and playing the movie again. The noises came a short duration one after another and after about 3 more I stopped the movie again. "Jese I'm serious, what the hell is that?" I asked. "Probably just the dog." She replied looking around. I nodded my head and we were about to start the movie again when we both looked over beside the sofa and saw her dog Chopper lying on the floor next to us.
"Well shit."
