I know I have not updated in,like,a week.Or two.I know you think I’m such a lazy turd who doesn’t want to sit her bottom down in a chair and type a few words, but you’re wrong. I’ve been fighting my way to get anywhere near the computer. I mean, like seriously.

I had hoped I made this one long enough with a whole rack of mystery and drama.Poor Samel & helen.

Without thinking I sailed absent mindedly through the library and to where Samuel was seated. His wavy hair was a wild mess and his skin seemed as pale as ice. For some bizarre reason I found Samuels’s expression-the one he had given me when I had tapped on the shoulder- murderous. In a blink of an eye samel had snatched my hand and held it in his steel grip.

Without once looking back to see who I was.

I tried to say something but all that came out was stale air. It was as if the very life was being sucked out of me. I tried to pull my arm away from his but it wouldn’t budge. Whiling struggling to break free I noticed his skin on his arm had become paler and colder. I could see the many veins. They were snakelike and reaching out for me it seemed. I shivered unconsciously.

“Who sent you? Was it Draco?Devilin?”In all my terror I heard samel say. “If you are a fury…tell Devilin I need a second chance. I will find her. I know I can if he just gave me a little more time.”Samuel’s tone had a sharp edge to it when he said Devilins name. The next sentence came with a forced chuckle. “I’m sure he would understand.”I could feel my bones crushing under his Rock-hard grip.

After a few seconds of hushed silence I managed to squeak.“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about. I-I’m Penelope…you met me yesterday in the hallway…”-Samel instantly dropped my hand and gaped up at me in shock-“and I came to say sorry about Helen breaking up with you. I had a feeling you really cared a lot about her.”

Samuel managed a watery smile but that smile wiped off his face, when I added.”But not that I can blame her. For breaking up with you, I mean. You do seem to be a bit”-I chose my words carefully-“…moody.”

I half-expected samel to shout ‘What?!’ and push me up against a wall like he’d done to Helen white a few days earlier… but something told me Samuel Romano wasn’t that type of person. Maybe it could have been the bags starting to form under his child-like eyes or the strong scent of aftershave but I trusted him. I knew Helen must have meant a lot to him because even after two days or so the break-up was still killing him.

When I called him ‘moody’ he just sighed like I was the least of his problems. He shrugged but didn’t look me straight in the face.”It doesn’t matter now. I already lost her. What can I do if she wants nothing to do with me?”-He wiped another tear away-“I-I don’t know what to say…it’s so pointless.”

It was heartbreaking to see such a vivacious and spirited person die from the inside out; and to think it was all in the name of love. I just had to fell Sympathetic …I felt like I owed him that much. I patted him on the shoulder as he covered his face in shame.

“Don’t worry. Everything’s going to be okay. Um…”-What was I supposed to do? I had to give it a try-“Hey, I have an idea. Do you want to go and get something to eat? My treat.” I had no idea what I was getting myself into. If I had, I wouldn’t have invited him in the first place.

Samel seemed to consider this as he stopped sobbing and looked up from his crotched position. His eyes I noticed-were dull, blank as twin bullet holes. You could almost say they were…dead eyes. Full of sorrow and agonizing pain. For a second time I felt a surge of electricity but brushed it aside. I didn’t know why right away I did what I did, but later on I learned to trust my instincts.
