Chapter 29
Vince:
I picked up my bags and headed downstairs. Today is the day of our trip to Weasley Island and the start of our Caribbean cruise. Heck, I’m so excited.
Liz left ahead of me. I asked her if she wants to go with me to the pier but she refused. She said that Justin will be giving her a ride. Screw that Stewart guy. He’s always in the way.
I was headed towards the door and bid my farewell to Maddie. “Good bye Maddie! See you after a week!” I exclaimed.
I was about to open the door when the knob moved and it flung open.
“Grandma? What are you doing here? I thought you’re heading to work?” I asked. It was Grandma, together with her driver and bodyguard, Rupert, who opened the door.
Grandma gave me a kiss on the cheek. “Oh, hi sweetie. Grandma’s not feeling a bit well today so I decided to take some rest. By the way, where are you going?”
I looked at my bags and answered, “Today’s our trip to Weasley Island, Grandma. Semestral break party, remember?”
“Oh, I see. Sorry, I forgot.” She said, while massaging her temples with her fingers. “Well, enjoy.” And then she went upstairs.
“Grandma?” I called. “Don’t overwork okay? Promise me you’ll be better when I come back.”
Grandma gently giggled. “Oh sweetie.” She said and she pulled me into a hug. “You really love Grandma, don’t you? I promise I will.”
Hugging her back, I answered. “Of course I love you Grandma. Take care.” And I kissed her on the cheeks.

As my foot touched the floor of the yacht, chills of excitement electrified my whole body, from my foot up to the strands of my hair. “This is it dude.” I told Dave as we enter the function room together.
The interior of this enormous private yacht owned by the school resembles a hotel – especially this function room. It has a capacity of 1,500 persons which describes how wide the function room is. The chandeliers are very classy. And at the far end of the room was a podium, probably for announcements and performances.
We were asked to proceed here in the function room as soon as we board. The principal went up the stage, grabbed the microphone and began to speak. “Hello, mic test.”
All the students laughed in the way he delivered those words. And then he continued, “Welcome aboard students! Who’s excited for this trip?”
All the students, including Dave and I, screamed, “We are!”
