We all exchanged looks while Abbigal and Brenna gasped. "Then what are they?"
"They are humans of course, well, half human. Your grandparents were full fledged mermaid and merman. However, oddly, the mermaid cells didn't recreate inside the bodies of your parents. Another odd thing is that you out of all people that have the only half mermaid and merman blood parents, you are like your grandparents, a mermaid though of course. Your not full fledged yet, and neither is Abbigal or Brenna."
"Then how do we become one?"
"In legends it says that you must have one guide the unguided clueless one to Keiled and there you shall stay 3 nights, survival test, others watching, not helping, gather a seashell called the Gohal, without anyone or anything taking it. If you fail, you shall be doomed for thirteen years."
