Chapter 8:Dreams are real!

Morning Routine,got on the bus,went into the building,and went to class.This time,at the classroom door,there was a note with my name on it.It said,"There are other mermaids out there and are really close to you,Sincerely, a secret fish."

All day I was thinking about it.I couldn't stop,I tried distracting myself,but that didn't work.I was in my bedroom looking at it,reading it,and thinking about it.Until dinner was done,I could fall asleep and have a good night sleep.

It was morning,I did my morning routine,and went to school.I was walking through the hallway and found my two friends,Abbigal and Brenna.I walked over to them,and started to talk."I had a weird dream last night and both of you were in it."They looked very confused,but I knew they weren't at all."That is weird,what was it about?"I was very nervous to say stuff about the mermaid part,so I'll have to try to say what I can."Well,it started as if all of us were playing tag in my backyard,then our neighbors put their sprinklers on and we got sprayed."I knew I remembered more of the dream,but I could vaguely speak those words."I don't think I remember anymore of the dream,but I have something to say that I thought was good to hear and say."

I thought about it for a second,then I started to tell them."Did you know that on average,you have about 6 dreams per night,but 90% you don't remember,I think it's that percent,not very sure,but I know it's in the 90's spot."Before I could say more,the bell rang for class to began,so we all said we would see each other later after school at my house.I started to run to class,class started with morning work as usual.This time,morning work was pan balance problems.First side of the pan balance was two circles.Second side was 4 triangles.The problem was,"One circle is _ triangles," so basically it means, 1 circle= _ triangles.Right away I got, 1 circle= 2 triangles.I turned my sheet into the morning tray,and the day began.

Mrs.Grihen got us started on math.Day went on,and the class ended.Every class was done and finished,Brenna and Abbigal met me at the school building's back doors to get on the bus.We all sat together in one seat,each seat could hold 3 people.We told the bus driver, that we were going home together also.The bus came to our bus stop and dropped us off and we walked the rest, back home.Walked inside the house and I yelled out loud,"I'm home with Brenna and Abbigal!"I got no response,but I did know Cassie and mom were home because they're on the couch watching their favorite show,but I didn't know what it was called.

Anyway,Brenna,Abbigal,and I set our book bags on the floor and went upstairs to my room."What do u want to do?"Abbigal and I said at the same time."Jinx,Jinx,JINX!,ok,Caterina,Caterina,Caterina!"The jinx war ended,and Brenna thought that we should play tag outside without a base."Whoever is last,is a rotten egg!"We ran fast down the stairs,trying to throw each other off the course to get outside.The back door was locked,I was in last,but I had an advantage because I knew how to unlock the door.I unlocked it and I came in first.The air seemed to be very fresh.Afterwards,Brenna came in second and Abbigal came in last."Abbigal is a rotten egg!," both of us said,"Just kidding,it was a joke," Brenna said.

We took a breather before we started to play tag.I started secretly and tagged Abbigal,"Tag your it." "Oh,come on!"She couldn't tag me so she tagged Brenna instead of me."Caterina, your so fast,we can't get you!," Abbigal and Brenna said at different times." Well,Im sorry I'm way to fast for the both of you,so I'll let one of you tag me."I let Abbigal tag me and then I tagged her back quick because I was using my back and forth strategy.

Then later,we all ended up in front of the neighbors house.We talked for a little,until the neighbors sprinklers went off and splashed some water on all three of us!For some reason,instead of just me running to the back door, it was all three of us running,weird.Bad part is that I turned into a mermaid right when I got so close to the back door.Then I thought I was doomed,but instead of one fall there was two more hits to the ground.

We all looked at each other,we looked nervously.I counted, Two tails....Three tails!?Abbigal's tail color was turquoise and Brenna's tail color was red."Brenna,Abbigal,why didn't you tell me you were mermaids?"I was shocked!"We thought you would tell everyone our secret,we didn't know you were a mermaid too,why didn't you tell us you were a mermaid?"I had to admit,I had the same reasons."I have the same reasons you both have."We went on and on about mermaid talk,and showed each other our powers.They thought telekineses was my most amazing power!"Wait,this is just like my dream I had last night,it happened the same way the dream did!"
