Eren So, it's Christmas soon and we have a week off to celebrate. I remember Levi saying his birthday was on Decembet 25th, that's Christmas Day, so I want to do something special for him that he'll remember. Usually, the only kind of gift he gets is a card with a $10 bill in it from his cousins, Isabel and Farlan. That's why I want to treat him to something nice (maybe some stilts?). It's our first day off today and Levi's asked me out for lunch. I'm not going shopping for his presents yet because I need to find out what he likes and today is the perfect opportunity, right? I walk to my dorm, because I can't and don't really want to fly back to Germany, and shower before throwing on a pair of black jeans and a dress shirt, so I look casual but nice, before I head out to meet Levi. I walk into the 'Hole in the Wall' Cafe (no pun intended) and spot Levi sitting at a booth in the far corner with two cups. Did he get me one? How did he know what to get me? I take a seat opposite him, catching his attention as he snaps his head up, his gaze softening when he registers my face. "Eren, hi." "Hey Levi," I glance down at the cups filled with steaming liquid before looking back up. "I assume you've ordered?" He resumes focus on his phone. "Yeah. A caramel latte for you and plain black for me." "Wow! How did y-" He's not paying attention. Stupid phone. "Oi, stop fubbing me." He looks up at me with wide eyes, a smirk dancing on his lips."Fubbing you?" I can't help but feel confused. What's wrong with saying that? Is it because it sounds like fucking?? "Umm yea, you were just fubbing me when I tried to thank you." "I certainly don't recall doing that and I certainly wouldn't do it in public." What?
Levi He looks more than confused, the innocent li'l' shit. "Umm yea, you were just fubbing me when I tried to thank you." I'm so close from actually laughing at his stupidity. I know he actually means phubbing but it's too funny so I decide to tease him some more. "I certainly don't recall doing that and I certainly wouldn't do it in public." Ok now he just looks agitated. "Stop being a dick Levi you know you did it." I chuckle as he glares daggers at me."Eren, spell phubbing for me." He look at me like I think he's some kind of idiot. "Ok.. F-u-b-b-i-n-g." "Ok now search that up on your phone now." He pulls out his phone and types it in. I immediately know when he's read the definition because he turns a bright shade of red.

"You idiot Eren." "I know.." He trails off. "You still want me to fub you?" I tease nonchalantly. "Shut up you douche!" He laughs. "Ok, ok! Now drink your coffee it's gonna get cold." I look down at my phone again and reach to get my coffee when I see Eren sip his, but being the ignorant bastard with bad hand/eye coordination I am: I knock my drink over, spilling steaming hot liquid on my lap which just so happens my phone is resting on. My heart sinks as I watch the screen flicker and turn black. It's not gonna turn back on anytime soon. "Ah shit!" I hiss. "God, Levi! Are you ok?" "I am, my fucking brand new phone isn't." "Wel-" "Sir, please restrain from using profanities inside the cafe!" A waitress chirps at me. I take no notice.
Eren I can't believe Levi did that, he's such an idiot. "Well, that's what you get for phubbing!" I finish my sentence after the waitress interrupted. "Shut up brat. I can't get a new phone for about a month now because I've already had my upgrade and I need to save up. Shi- sugar." I stop myself from cussing when I see the waitress glare at me. Wow. He hasn't called me brat in a while. "Say, Levi?" "What?" "What model phone was that?" "iPhone 5s, space grey. A brand newfucking iPhone 5s." He mutters the last part under his breath to the point where I can barely hear. I pretend to receive a text from someone. "Levi I gotta go." I give him a handful of napkins. "I'll make it up to you I promise!" I say as I hurry out the door. not giving him a chance to reply.
Time skip - Eren walking back to his dorm
I unlock my door and hurry inside before logging on my computer and typing in: iPhone 6s, space grey, browsing through a few before finally clicking order to have it delivered to my nearest Apple Store which is only about 30 minutes away. I jump up off my bed and walk over to my dresser to get some money. I taped $1000 dollars to the base of it just in case and I think now is a good time to use it. That's Levi's Birthday present done, I think I'll just get him some socks for Christmas...
