Epilogue

Tia sat in the waiting room, twisting the ring on her finger. "Tia it'll be all right." Arjun soothes her softly stroking her hair. "Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor," the lady announces and scans around he room to see if they were here. Tia and Arjun stood up and headed inside the Doctor's office. Tia grasps Arjun's hand as the cold jelly-like substance is placed on her stomach. The doctor scans around looking for the zygote.

 "There she is!" Arjun whispered excitedly showing the picture to bhai. "There is our little princess!" He danced around and Tia laughed softly. She was sitting with Arjun's Ma talking quietly about the pregnancy. Only 6 more months to go. Tia thought to herself. Only six more months before Arjun and I become parents. 

The merriment went on through the night. Tia had fallen asleep leaning against Arjun's shoulder for support. He tucked her in and kissed her cheek softly. She looked so beautiful. His ring shone in the darkness and he just smiled to himself reminiscing the day he had proposed to Tia.
